A&W Restaurant — Restaurant in Cresco

We really love stopping in the A&W when we come through town. Last time I was in this place it was a Hardee’s when I was kid growing up in Cresco. Mike was so professional and very nice. One of the employees I really enjoyed interacting was Kailyn (Kai). Not sure I spelled her name right but she was such a shining star. She took our order and made sure it was exactly what we wanted. She made us laugh with her jokes and made the experience enjoyable. She is definitely a top notch employee and because of her great service we will definitely be stopping back in whenever we are in town. Went to the drive-thru order two things and literally only had one bill in my wallet which was a $50 bill handed it to the girl in the window I think my total was like 12 something and she hands me back ten bucks I asked her politely to check her tail because I know I gave her a 50 and she argued with me and tell her manager came over and found the 50 in the $5 bill slot I wouldn't recommend but honestly there's not many other places in town to eat so I guess just make sure you have the right change when you order there and also don't order the fish it...

I like the food here, the burgers are pretty good, fries sometimes can be a hit or a miss, cheese curds are good, and the chicken tenders are one of my favorites out of any fast food place.

Sometimes orders do take a while, but that's because we make it fresh, we don't pre-make any burgers or anything like that, we cook the burgers and fry the chicken as we need them. Unfortunately that sometimes can take a little while.
