I wish that I would have checked this place out on one of my earlier trips to NE Iowa! I had a thin crust all meat pizza and an appetizer of Nachos Supreme. The nachos came out hot,fresh and fast. I was pleasantly surprised by all of the crisp green peppers, the small tomato slices, and onions. The big surprise to me was the black olives, which I usually don't like, but this time it was spot on. Definitely a thing to repeat. The pizza came out, and had to sit while I finished the nachos, but it was still very warm. The meats were good, but the sauce was awesome! It was a sweet sauce that had a little zip to it. Atomic Pizza is a good little restaurant in Cresco. The Atomic pizza special is definitely different. The combination of hot and spicy is a twist from the normal pizza flavor and the jalapenos add a pop of heat! The crust was really thick and very crunchy. They do not offer different sizes of pizza, which is a downside, it's one size or none. They have a nice selection of beer and it was served ice cold.
