Panda Garden — Restaurant in Cresco

Panda Garden used to be the best Asian-American restaurant in Northeast Iowa in terms of food, ambiance, service, and overall value. Went downhill after the passing of the original owner (a great man), though his family kept it going for a while best they could. Since new ownership, the quality has dropped significantly to the point where I only order crab rangoons for takeout. (The rangoons are quite good!) I remember its former era fondly, and hope that someday the rest of its food might improve so I can recommend it again. I haven't tried its dishes for several years, so I will give it another chance later this year in case...

After reopening, they have done very well bringing back the food ever since the original owner passed. For about 20 dollars, the food is quite good, and it came out fast for me, and the serving amount is huge! Definitely worth the money. after I ate, I had the rest go into a to-go box, and it looked like I hadn't even touched it, and I ate half of it! The service was nice too, and it was pretty clean. Closed and unsure if they are opening again. Phone was disconnected or possibly just off for now. Also sign on door only states "Sorry closed" with no reopening plans or other info.
