Cresco Theatre and Opera House — Attraction in Cresco

My wife and I had a most memorable evening. The Theatre has been beautifully restored. Even better was the Assistant Manager Jeff. We were interested in the Theatre's history and after the movie he offered to give us a tour. He and his family have a history with the theater which made it even more interesting and enjoyable. In these trying times it seems kindness to others is sometimes missing. We will never forget the kindness Jeff showed and the time he freely gave us. He truly is a treasure to the Theater and we're most grateful for the most memorable evening. The big screen movie experience was a first for us post COVID. I don't know what world the other reviewer is living in, but adult tickets are $5.00, which seems reasonable compared to other movie theaters. This theater has been revamped in the past month (new plush seats, new paint on the walls, a new lobby layout), and is looking better and running smoother than ever. The workers are usually pleasant, and the atmosphere the historic building provides is unlike any other theater you will find these days.
