Edited to add corporate number +1-800-225-5532.
Rude staff when they have anyone working. Completely forgot one of my meals last night and tried to call the store and let them know but there was no answer even though I saw at least 4 staff members during my visit. Had to call customer service to get any help with the order. There was a 2 hour traffic jam getting into town last night and it was cold outside. I just wanted my food but we had to ration out the chicken because they shorted me a meal. Thanks š. Go to the ft Walton location if you can. Always a negative experience at the Crestview locabut
After I posted this review I noticed that almost everybody else had the exact same criticisms such as the dining room not being open consistently, rude staff and employees, missing food, orders taking a long time, always being out of certain items including chicken when it is a chicken restaurant. I called the KFC corporate number last night and they were very nice and fixed the error on my order which was again an entire meal missing even though I was almost an hour getting there due to the traffic jam outside of town last night it would have really been nice to have gotten my entire order and not had to have rationed out five pieces of chicken amongst three adults but I had worked all day long it was cold out I'd sat in my car for 2 hours trying to get back from work in Destin because of a Walmart truck stuck in the dang road for hours going into town and all I wanted was some chicken. I was sitting in traffic for 2 hours. If I'd known I would it was my fault that I did not go to the more reliable location in Fort Walton or stop at slim chickens or even Publix for my fried chicken fix. I work in the industry and I know what it looks like to see people goofing off inside and that is what I saw last night when I came to pick up my order I asked twice if the order was correct before I left and I was assured in a rude manner that it was even though it looked too small to be the separate four piece taste of KFC boxes and sure enough they shorted me an entire box of food this location is ridiculous and I'm surprised corporate isn't coming down harder on them. +1-800-225-5532 KFC corporate number for everyone. It's ridiculous that we don't have another chicken restaurant on the north side of Crestview you have to go through an hour of traffic just to get to Popeyes and back please somebody put another restaurant on Northside in Crestview so we don't have to gamble on whether the employees there want to get your order right that day or if the location is even open or has the item you want in stock. I want to add that I don't fully blame the employees there obviously this has been a problem for a long time I just moved to this area and you still live near the KFC in Fort Walton and I never had any trouble there or any problems with my orders they were always open and if I happen to stop by there they usually had my order out in a timely manner I never was shorted any items the staff were always friendly and polite so imagine my surprise when I saw this location and found out from my boyfriend that everybody avoids that KFC due to its awful reputation and the fact that they will literally say they're out of fried chicken when it is a fried chicken restaurant to me it's just indicative of a larger problem in Crestview which is us not being able to get more restaurants and more places to go on the North side so we don't have to try to fight traffic near the highway. If any employees or managers or corporate people are reading this again most of us also work hard and we don't want to complain just to complain it's just become absurd and ridiculous though that this place is either closed has no staff is always forgetting people's items or out of stock on crucial items or isn't open inside and when staff are there half the time they are extremely rude to the point where people who don't make reviews like this feel compelled to write a review again all we want is either a KFC that functions or a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was there two days ago and ordered an 8 piece family meal. I wish I had gotten my receipt so I'd know exactly how long I spent there but I didn't think I'd need it. Boy was I wrong. I was asked to pull up which is fine, normally. The guy in front of me went inside twice and came out the second time without any food, started his Jeep and left, so I assumed he cancelled his order. I eventually pulled around and went inside to wait because I was just burning gas at the drive thru and was sure they had forgotten about me since everyone was passing by. When I told the female employee that I was going to sit and wait, she responded "that's fine". After about 10 more minutes went by, I stood up and walked up to the counter again, a different employee was fixing an order and she told him "this lady has been waiting the longest". She asked me what my sides were, I responded, then she grabbed something out of the bag and handed it to me. Huh!? I don't get it. There was no apology for the wait, no have a good night, nothing. I wasn't angry until I left because I have alot of patience with people who work in the food industry and try to be understanding but this was insane! When I left only one car was in the drive thru. I had to have been there well over 30 mins. I think I spent just that in the drive thru, not counting the time in the restaurant. The only reason I stayed as long as I did was because my family was hungry and I had already spent all that time there. I wouldn't have had such a problem if the female employee had been apologetic or friendly or something. She ruined it for me. I won't be returning to this location. What a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went here yesterday with my partner for my birthday. We ordered a 12-piece meal with two medium drinks. The total was $41.41. Even though I told the person taking my order that it was "for here", my order was packed up as a to go order. The meal came with 3 large sides, for which I ordered mashed potatoes & gravy, slaw and macaroni & cheese. My partner and I wanted to share the sides, so I returned to the counter to request two paper plates and some butter for the biscuits. I was told they no longer have paper plates. I asked, "Do you have butter?". She turned and went to the back of the store to get some butter. While I waited for the butter I looked around behind the counter and saw a stack of paper trays that would serve perfectly as paper plates, so when she came back with the butter I asked for two of the paper trays. She began to refuse my request saying her boss only allows her to provide them for delivery orders. I told her, "Look, it's my birthday today, and I just spent over $40 on chicken. Can I really not get a paper plate?". I didn't say it, but I wondered how I was expected to share mashed potatoes and gravy at the table without a plate on which to put it. Surely they didn't expect their customers to eat from a bare tabletop. Finally, she relented and gave me two of the paper trays, but told me her boss is watching and she was going to get in trouble for it. I told her that was ridiculous, which it is. The food was great, but the order should definitely have come with...
