Hideaway Pizza — Restaurant in Crestview

This place has been on the top of my list of restaurants I wanted to eat at and finally this 23rd day of July (Fri @5pm to be exact) I am finally getting to!! At first I didn't think we were going to find an open table but luckily a man waiting for his carry out meal moved from one so we could sit. If I was scoring just on the food itself then it would've had 5 🌟 no doubt but since the service is also being reviewed thats why I only gave it 4 🌟. I finally asked for a menu after we sat at the table for at least 15 minutes if not longer, we never got a refill on our drinks, and by the time our pizza was brought to us we had been sitting there for an hour and ended up eating a slice then paid and left with the rest. I wanna point out that our waitress was very sweet young girl with long straight blonde hair (didn't get her name). She seemed to be the one doing almost all of the work herself even though there were several others that basically were walking around in circles letting this young lady wait on all the tables, answer the phone, ring up pick up orders, etc. She never stopped moving or smiling! They definitely need to find more employees like her!! The pizza was the best I've had in this area by far! Great sauce, crust, and the cheese was awesome 👌! Definitely referring it to everyone I know( and don't)!

ℹThey have the tables marked and spaced so there is a safe amount of distance between each table of guest due to Covid and they also clean and sanitize...

I’ve been a loyal customer of Hideaway Pizza for many years, and I was surprised to realize I’d never written a review for this incredible place. I guess I just assumed everyone already knew how amazing this local treasure is!

On our recent visit, we were reminded why Hideaway is a cut above the rest. The pizza was absolutely incredible—thick, flavorful, and loaded with toppings. The cheese bread was out of this world, with a generous amount of gooey cheese and perfectly balanced seasoning. We also tried the stromboli, which was massive and packed full of deliciousness. And let’s not forget the dessert! The cinnamon bread pizza was not only delicious but also generously portioned—perfect for sharing (or keeping to yourself!).

While Hideaway is on the pricier side, the portions and quality more than justify it. A single slice of their pizza feels like eating two slices from anywhere else because of the thickness and hearty toppings. You’re definitely getting your money’s worth here.

The service was wonderful, rounding out an overall excellent experience. I’ll definitely be going back again and again. Hideaway Pizza is truly a gem that never...

I rarely ever post feedback about any business but I couldn’t help myself after this experience.

Went in with my family and 4 young children on Monday night and the restaurant was not crowded. The waitress who came up to us said tables were all first come, first serve. We asked to be seated in an area that accommodated the entire family and also not in front of the main entrance where the cold weather would disturb us. She was extremely short, annoyed, and rude with us and when we asked to be seated in a corner and combine tables she was again, annoyed, but agreed to seating us in that area. Another couple walked up and sat at the table and she then turned around and said, pick something else, this is all that you have. Mind you, the far right and left areas had available tables but she would not allow us to be seated there. I’ve been a Crestview resident and active duty military since 2011 and have never experienced such treatment in restaurant.
