This was my first time visiting Valle Azul and I'm impressed. The menu is more extensive than what is posted on other reviews. The Carne Asada was super yummy. I was served a generous amount of steak that was flavored and cooked perfectly. Loved getting almost a whole lime for juice. I could have used a little bit more avocado especially since I have leftovers. I will easily get three meals out of this plate.

The food is normally good. Unfortunately I do need to suggest to stay away from the breakfast items that contain sausage. Way overcooked and dry which makes it really hard to eat. I ordered the Valle Azul omlette but I just asked them to add sausage to it. Maybe it was misunderstood but I wanted everything else that came on it as well. It's just dry overcooked sausage and eggs. Their potatoes locos though? A+

I heard mixed reviews but was pleasantly surprised. The food was really good. There wasn’t a great selection but it had a little of everything. The steak in the smothered burrito was cooked nicely and had a traditional flavor. I thanked the owner for the food because it was good, made to order and was fresh. Crete doesn’t have a ton to offer but I recommend this place.
