Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Cross City

I understand closing early because of the virus and hard times right now. But I went through the drive thru at 7:45, the sign on the speaker to order said because of cleaning and sanitizing things during this time they will be closing at 8 which is understandable. A car in front of me waited for 5 minutes or so before pulling up because no one was answering on the speaker. I then waited and trucks behind me lined up until 7:55 when a lady on the speaker finally came on and said they closed at 8, I proceeded to tell her it was not 8 o’clock yet and I had been sitting there for the past 10 minutes and nobody had came on the speaker. I then pulled around to the window and the lady said they were closed I told her I had been sitting there and other cars for the past 10-15 mins. She didn’t care, said she didn’t have a headset so didn’t know. Which obviously someone did because someone finally came on at 8 to tell me they were closed. Horrible horrible...

went in the lobby and ordered chicken tender basket. first of all the employees were just standing around and talking, counters and tables were dirty and the store looked dirty! the price was outrageous too. then we were given cold soggy chicken and no toast?? i paid 11 dollars for this so obviously i complained. i was met by the fat blonde “manager” who took my food to “remake it” and proceeded to get in my face and be all rude and aggressive because i was upset my food sucked!!! and i didn’t even get a refund or my food THAT I PAID FOR! i am utterly outraged. how is this place even still in business? definitely won’t be considering this place until new...

We arrived yesterday, May 22, 2021 at 9:03pm, website said they close at 9:30pm? There were 3 cars in the drive thru, so we thought maybe Dairy Queen forgot to turn on the lights. Got to the window after they served the 3 cars in front of us, it was now 9:15pm. A young lady said, I am sorry, we are not taking anymore orders. We said the website said you close at 9:30pm, she said we closed early due to short staff. What?? There were plenty of staff. Hopefully a manager will see this and correct the staffing issues.
