Cheek Drugstore — Local services in Cross City

I have lived in Dixie my whole life (1984)and have been using services at cheeks as long as I can remember. I personally have never had an issue with them aside from my personal discontent with the choice to incorporate hunting and fishing supplies in a pharmacy. However the reason I am only giving two stars is because after reading the responses to other customers reviews I am highly disappointed and disheartened by the cold and unnecessary reactions from the apparent owner. This is supposed to be a hometown pharmacy supporting local residents and I don’t think that making comments about what people can or can’t afford when expressing their opinion on prices or publicly and sarcastically commenting that one reviewer is the spouse of another therefore apparently their opinion and review is somehow unimportant are in ANY way an acceptable response to address and react to customers and members of our community! Even if they have a difference of opinion I believe any reputable establishment should still respond with understanding, empathy, and grace! If it’s not even a thought to respond in a better manner in a public setting such as this it really makes me wonder what treatment customers must experience in person where no one else can...

Went to ER for kidney stones and was in tremendous pain. Hospital prescribed me 4 medicines. And I didn't have enough for all the prescription only had enough for two. Two of the main ones I need to help stone pass through. Cheeks told me no we can't do that I had to pick them all up or have them sent somewhere else. I didn't have enough money to get them all. Glad to be able to get back into a family style pharmacy. (This isn't a chain store like CVS) THEY'RE Really friendly and will know your name after a few visits, your not just a face. Very knowledgeable associates helpful and will go above board to make every visit a happy one. So very happy I decided to change over from chain store pharmacy to hometown pharmacy.
