The cutest little coffee shop I’ve ever had the pleasure of visiting! We’re from south Florida and when I knew we were making this trip I immediately looked up local coffee shops and was so excited to try this place! When we walked in, I knew I was going to love it immediately. The staff was so friendly and welcomed us right away! I was overwhelmed but in the best way by all of the selections. When we made our way to the counter we saw a gentleman eating pancakes or French toast and knew immediately we had to stay for brunch, even though we had just had hotel breakfast. We got the plateau breakfast wrap with a side of sausage gravy for dipping which was unreal flavor wise. We also shared an order of biscuits and gravy as well as the ham & cheese with egg. I ordered a coconut cloud latte and mistakingly ordered a small one. After two sips I knew I was ordering one to go! We had such an amazing experience that we went again the next day for brunch but this time with the in-laws! They too enjoyed their meals and lattes. We’re heading back in about 3 weeks for some work and I am already planning on what my next order will be! Thank you for an amazing experience! We cannot wait to come back

I visited the area for a few days because I was attending the funeral of my grandpa. I was staying nearby and also needed to work from my airbnb. I searched "coffee" on my phone and this place came up. I'm from Houston where we have coffee shops of all kinds, so I was looking to support somewhere local vs Starbucks. And I feel like I hit the jackpot with this place. To start, it has a warm and inviting feel similar to a mahogany cabin cafe in a Hallmark movie. At this time, a Christmas tree was put up and soft string lights made the place feel even more cozy. I was in a sad mood, but this place and its staff were beyond helpful, patient, and awesome. My Americano was nice and strong, pumpkin spice latte was delicious, and a few other family members said their mochas were amazing! I only wish I had bought a bag of coffee to-go before I left. It can be a little busy at times. Parking is on the side of the building but it wasn't tough to navigate. I liked this place so much, my dad and I came together for breakfast before our flights back home! We likely won't ever need to come back to the Crossville area again, but I hope this place is still open for others to enjoy in the future.

Busy on this Saturday morning at 9am. This place is more than a coffee shop! Full breakfast and lunch menu, both served all day. I ordered the Angela's Scramble....yummy! Nice portion size (we shared) and great flavor. For coffee I got the featured coffee, hibiscus honey oat latte... delicious šŸ˜‹ Hubby got black coffee, dark, and he enjoyed that Plenty of tables, both high tops and low tops, couch and easy chair. And apparently they do live music at some point. Prices are typical (I hate discussing prices unless they are super low or super high and not worth it). So for our 2 coffees and one breakfast it was $24. Parking is on the street or a nearby small lot. I didn't drive here or park so I'm not really sure but for locals in sure they know the tricks. But if you're visiting this place is worth finding a parking space 😊 This place hits all the right buttons, plenty of space, great coffee and food, friendly staff. My only negative comment would be if you want an intimate place to perhaps read or study this might not be it unless you go at a quieter time of day. Otherwise I suggest you give this place a try!

This was an AMAZING experience!!! Kaleigh suggested an Irish Creme Breve w/extra espresso and a Milky Way slice of cake!!! You all need to stop by and ask for Kaleigh- she will take care of you!!!

This post (above) was such a great post. I hate that I am editing and I hate I am having to give less stars now.

10/28/2021 3:40p my friend and I decided on this windy, wet, and day that something delicious is what we wanted for lunch… of course Grinderhouse… I know GrinderHouse speed of service, I know their customer service, and I know how much I will pay there… and I’m ok with all of those things…. Lately, the FOH CLOSING LEAD has been… well bitter! And now in a delicious coffee taste! I will say this, I don’t care what time a business closes… DO NOT BE RUDE (Rushing is to order… rushing us to reorder because she claims ā€œwe are out of the ā€œRiceā€ to make the Keto Power Bowlā€. (Maybe they truly were out of the cauliflower rice… or maybe they just didn’t want to make it that close to closing time šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø). So then she asked us what we wanted instead, she grabbed one paper trifold menu, handed it to us and HOVERED LIKE A HAWK. Ok, I wish I was lying, we felt so pressured I blurted out a flatbread that I have had in the past… apparently the Tuscan Flatbread is a lengthy make… so she left and yelled into the kitchen for her team to make it… comes right back and hovers again, my friend felt so pressed he caved and said, ā€œah ah uh nothing thank youā€. She said ok and left. I asked him why nothing this is lunch… we need to eat (yes, it was a late lunch, but unfortunately not everyone gets to have time structured jobs) I then stood up as the CLOSING LEAD goes through turns off the lights and tv. The two of us… two other girls… and another guy then got up and walked out… and of all things… that poor guy be himself sat down outside with his coffee AND SAT IN THE COLD, WET, & WINDY weather outside to finish his coffee.

All of this to say, GrinderHouse has great coffee, food, atmosphere, and entertainment. Realize though… sometimes we just don’t want McDonalds…. We want a nice downtown coffee house experience. That’s...

A Hidden Gem That Restored Our Faith in Humanity.

We stumbled upon this coffee shop while in Tennessee during a very challenging time in our lives, and it quickly became so much more than just a place to grab a cup of coffee. From our very first visit, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and kindness by the entire staff. The team here is truly something special, extremely professional, incredibly sweet, and genuinely attentive. After just a few visits, they knew us by name and remembered exactly how we like our coffee. It's that kind of personal touch that turns a simple coffee run into a comforting, familiar experience. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and every interaction, from the front counter to the kitchen staff, was filled with friendliness and care. It’s clear that everyone working here not only loves what they do, but also cares deeply about their customers. In a world that can often feel rushed and impersonal, this place was a breath of fresh air. The coffee is always delicious, and the variety of food options is impressive and consistently well-prepared. You can tell they take pride in both the quality of their offerings and the experience they provide. This shop became a little sanctuary for us, bringing peace, hope, and a renewed belief in the goodness of people. If you're in the area, please stop in and support this amazing local business. It’s absolutely worth it, and you’ll leave feeling better than when you walked in. Highly,...

This place is fairly pricey and recently they decided to charge and extra 3% if you use your credit card-which I think is extremely petty. The breakfast flat bread is my favorite thing in the menu and at $16.95 you seriously are going to charge an additional 3% for me to use my CC??? The coffee is delicious! The people who work here are very nice! The space is junky, dark and awkward. The bathroom are clean but very unattractive. There is also one toilet for women and one toilet for me so you often have to wait. Over all the food is good-Nothing special but good! However, the not the best value. You pay for better than you get. Also-no French fries-only chips and a fruit cup for sides with your sandwich or hamburger. I hate that. I did order the bagel and cream cheese sandwich once-$10.50 and the bagel wasn’t even toasted. Not the best-I only ate half. The sad thing is this is one of the more favored local places. Another thing here that is a pet peeve for me…after you walk up and order your food, take your drink and pay-they pop up a ā€œtip screenā€ how much would you like to tip? Nothing-I place my own order, and get my own refills. There is not a waitress here-just workers who bring out your order and clear tables when you’re done. Grinds my gears and now that they started adding 3% for CC-I’m Definatly not...
