We tried The Pour House based on their 4.5 star review on Google. Our visit left us wondering how they received 4.5 stars. Service was ok. Nothing special. They were short handed, apparently, and couldn’t seat us at open tables because they didn’t have enough servers. We waited about 20 minutes and ended up sitting outside. We were hungry, so we just wanted to eat. There were five of us. We had fried pickles as an appetizer. They were hot, but nothing special. We got one tiny thing of ranch to share between the five of us and a plate full of pickles. Three of us ordered pasta dishes, one ordered a burger and one ordered a Cuban sandwich. My pasta dish was gnocchi and chicken. It was ok. Lots of mushy gnocchi, but little chicken. The chicken was on the dry side and not very flavorful. Two others got a Cajun pasta dish that was supposed to have alligator sausage, shrimp and chorizo. It did have shrimp, but they never found any alligator or chorizo in the dish. One person said the pasta had LOTS of onions in it, and that overpowered the overall flavor of the dish. The diner who ordered the Cuban sandwich had one slice of ham, some pork fat and no sauce on her sandwich. I asked about the lack of pork to which the waitress said she would ask the cook about how much meat should be on it. She later returned with a small dish of pork that smelled awful. Still no sauce. We were never offered condiments like ketchup, salt or pepper. We did receive refills on our drinks and napkins. The diner with the burger probably had the best dish, but it was nothing special. The price was much higher than the quality and service. The Pour House was just a big letdown, especially after seeing the 4.5 star rating. I included a picture of the Cuban sandwich. We spent around $120 (not including the tip) for 5 meals and an appetizer (everyone drank water). We definitely did not receive $120 worth of quality food or service. Picture of the Cuban included. No other pictures taken, because nothing on our plates were...

I would give 5 stars because the service and food were excellent if it weren't for the hostess. Our group was large, 12 people, in town for a bowling tournament. We called for a 5pm reservation and was told to be there 15 minutes early. When we arrived, they had a reservation but it was for another group. The hostess was trying to figured out what happened saying that the manager had taken the call. My group talked about what to do outside. We didn't complain. We didn't get upset. One of our group was trying to get reservations somewhere else while I went back in to ask how long the wait would be since they didn't write down our reservation. As I came back in, the hostess said she had our table ready. I thanked her for accommodating us. We were seated and had a great time!! As we left, I thanked the hostess again for getting us in. Her words to me were "we had to turn the other group away because you took their reservation". She blamed us for HER error. She was so rude!!! We had no idea what they were doing. We would have NEVER asked them to bump someone else for us. I don't appreciate being blamed for HER mistake!!! She should have taken responsibility and gotten our group and the other group to a table. This was her...

We finally got the chance to visit The Pour House Restaurant after driving by a few times, always leaving by every parking spot being filled. Fortunately, we found ourselves in the area after the lunch rush, and I’m so glad we did! From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed by the inviting atmosphere.

The service was exceptional—friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. We were seated in a clean dining room that exuded a warm, romantic vibe, perfect for a leisurely meal. The menu was filled with a variety of exciting options, making it tough to decide what to order!

Our food arrived quickly, which was impressive given how busy they were. And let me tell you, it did not disappoint! Each dish was not only delicious but also beautifully presented, showcasing the freshness of the ingredients.

Although we don’t drink, we couldn’t help but notice their nice bar and enticing drink specials, which looked fantastic and would appeal to anyone looking for a refreshing beverage.

We can’t wait to go back and explore more of the menu! To avoid the busy lunch rush, we’ll definitely aim for a late lunch next time. Highly recommend The Pour House Restaurant for anyone looking for a fantastic...
