Hardee’s — Restaurant in Crossville

We tried to go the Hardees on Peavine Rd in our way to Nashville but it was closed for renovation. My husband wanted a smoked sausage biscuit so we drove 5 miles out of our way to this location. Major mistake. They had banners in the window advertising the smoked sausage biscuit and it was on the menu inside, but we were told they were out of it. They also had no knives and forks and no ketchup because it was Monday. The sausage and gravy, sausage patty, egg and hash rounds had no taste. How do you eat this with a spoon? Everyone in there was at least 80. I have to believe they know better and could cook breakfast infinitely better than the dogfood served here. When we walked up to the counter to order, all the employees had their back to us and there was no sense of urgency to turn around. Absolutely the worst service I’ve ever seen from a fast food place. Was in the drive through for nearly twenty minutes and I was at the front of the line the entire time. I was then stuck after receiving my food because a car was told to pull up and wait for theirs. They asked why I can’t move, when it was clear as day why I couldn’t. They then didn’t do anything to tell the driver to move up further and said they’ll move when they get their food. Other customers were stacking up behind me. The employee then started to go outside to bring those behind me their food and take their payment, instead of asking the person in front to pull up further. By far the most ridiculous and frustrating thing I’ve seen at a fast food place. After receiving my food I didn’t get out of the line for seven minutes afterwards and that’s because the person behind me was able to wiggle out and I could then backup. This is the slowest Hardee’s I’ve been to yet. They can have up to 4 or 5 people in there working and it will still take 20-25 sometimes even 30 minutes for me to get my food. Ridiculous. Plus it’s expensive. They need to hire better workers or something because the food isn’t even that good. My dad was told he would have to wait 10 minutes to get his biscuits and gravy (only 3) and then after 10 minutes pass he was told it was too close to closing time so they wouldn’t be able to make it. Now he has to wait up to 3 days to get his money back because they can’t do cash refunds! I’m serious y’all there are way better Hardee’s out there than this one. I hate to be harsh but this place is a ripoff. Don’t waste your money or time! Go to bojangles instead it’s cheaper, faster, friendlier, and the food...
