Scooter’s Coffee: A Smoothie Savior Post-Dental Drama

So there I was—fresh out of the dentist's chair, face half-numb, jaw sore, dignity questionable—and all I wanted in life was something cold, smooth, and not chewing-intensive. Enter Scooter’s Coffee, the unexpected hero of my post-dental survival story.

I limped in (emotionally), fully expecting a basic smoothie to tide me over. But lo and behold, not only did they have smoothies, they had OPTIONS. Real choices. And then—plot twist—I found out I could add protein. As in, actual fuel. Suddenly this wasn’t just a smoothie, it was a meal, a life decision, a soft-food Renaissance.

But the real MVP? An employee named Apple. Yes, like the fruit I currently can’t eat. Apple was amazing—super friendly, helpful, even gave my smoothie and extra mix to get the consistency just right. Five stars for Apple, six if you count the emotional support.

Would I go back? Absolutely. Would I recommend it to friends? I already have. Would I name my next pet “Smoothie Apple” in their honor? Not...

When it first open I was pretty stoked about a coffee shop being opened at 5:30, I love the small talk the staff does. Now they open at 6am, a mere thirty minutes difference for some people who have to get up at 4:00am in the morning. I truthfully thought changing a schedule by 30 minutes was stupid. So far, every time I go there it's always some complication, like there is a unwritten staff policy where only two staff members can open and serve their customers and wanted to keep the restaurant closed til the 2nd staff arrives... I don't know what they can do to fix this but truethfully I am disappointed with how...

I am normally a Dunkin girl so the prices are slightly higher than what I normally get for coffee. They say they have an app for points though, so I might be trying that.
