From start to finish ..we scoot two tables together on the patio and was told to seperate them becuz itâs against fire marshall to have them together. Yet they have the gate pad locked to get outs that should have been against the fire marshalls donât ya think. ..so whatever we just go with it. ..from there our service was horrible. We arrive 8:20. We were not getting our order taking till 841. waited nearly 15 minutes to even be offered drinks. Then another 10 to get them. She brought the few adults alcohol before even bringing the child drinks. Our appetizers came out with our food. Ok cool ..we were just wasting time anyways. We asked for 3 steaks on special. They only had two. Ok cool. We get two of the steaks and they are both under cooked. Being pregnant we asked for them to cook the steak up ( they say the kitchens closed they canât) it had JUST left the kitchen to come to the table no know the grill was still hope. Then we asked for sauce for our appetizer ( mozz stks) they say they canât not give us Mari sauce becuz the kitchens closed down already? Is it not just sitting it the cooler? đ€ now dinners over. Tables stacked full ..no pre bus. No refills. Not apologies for the fact everything we asked was a no. We asked for the manger. She was so sweet and professional. Then she has the owner lady come out to just make sure we were satisfied with what she had done ( took of the pregnant girls steak becuz she was unable to eat it ) yet told the other girl her steak was properly cooked so they were not fixing it. TOOK THE FOOR BACK TO THE KITCHEN THEN RECOOKS IT AFTER REFUSING TO DO SO WHEN WE ASKED THE FIRST TIME ..earlier ..becuz remember the kitchen closed an grill was off. Like letâs be real. None of this made since. So the owner lady comes out ..I explain we donât mind paying for the food we were just informing the service was horrible. She replied back with âyall werenât the nicest people. U cursed herâ ⊠hmmm excuse customers are âalways rightâ so they say and WE WERE 100% CORRECT about all the things we complained about. No one wants free food etc. we donât mind to pay an even TIP WELL itâs just she need retrained and so we brought that to their attention. She the proceeds to argue amongst the table of girls an make it out like WE were the problem. We eat out all the time. Itâs never an issue like that. SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE ..food was ok..place was indeed clean and nice atmosphere. The boss was absolutely rude and...
Read moreWe have been meaning to try Vegas Steakhouse for months now. Our son is a clerk at Quality Inn and recommends it to the guests, who always come back thanking him for the recommendation. (One time, they even tipped him!)
It was right in the middle of dinner rush when we got there but we didn't have to wait for our table at all. The hostess was friendly and prompt. Our server, Hailey, was quick to greet us and was incredibly personable. We were able to build rapport with her discussing the menu so that when we ordered, we were confident about our choices. Hailey represented Vegas exceptionally; she promoted the food without being pushy, she was attentive without hovering. We were SO happy with her service.
My husband ordered fish and chips, while I ordered the ribeye. Hailey assured me that with the boss on the grill, my steak would be accurately cooked to order. Neither she nor "the boss" let me down! My steak was perfectly cooked medium rare. It was tender, juicy, and flavorful; probably the best steak I've had in a while.
I got the pleasure of sampling my husband's meal, as well, and I was very pleased with the flavor of the fish. The batter was perfectly crisp, not overly salted, and overall the fish wasn't overly oily like can happen sometimes. The fries were thick with very fluffy insides but a nice crisp coating, which my husband really enjoyed.
Being that I'm diabetic and already treated myself to one of their delicious homemade rolls, we passed on the lovely-sounding desserts, but the selection was well-rounded. (I hope to try a bite of that chocolate cake some day! I heard it's fantastic.)
We had changed our dinner plans to finally try Vegas and it was absolutely the best decision we could have made. We are looking forward to...
Read moreWe dined last night for a special birthday. We were 3 couples (a party of 6). We ordered appetizers and the cheesesticks were not cooked fully. Our waitress was great...she promptly returned the cheesesticks to the kitchen and brought us another batch that were cooked perfectly. Three of our party guests ordered their steaks well done and specifically stated NO PINK. When the steaks arrived they appeared to be cooked properly from the outside, but when they were cut into ALL THREE steaks were solid pink. We brought this to our servers attention and she immediately took them back to the kitchen and sent the owner over to speak with us. The owner stated that they always cook their steaks under what the guest wants because "you can always fix underdone but you can't fix overdone"! I'm sorry but as a steakhouse this should NOT be the philosophy. You should be able to order a steak and have it cooked to perfection 95% of the time. The owner had the steaks regrilled and brought back to the table. Two of the guests did not even want their steaks at this point. Anyone who cooks a steak knows that you do not regrill a steak after it's rested and been cut into. The meat dries out and shrinks up. We were very disappointed. The owner did offer to take the steaks off the bill but we still ended up paying full price for our meal. Our meal cost over $100 and half of the food went to waste. We were very disappointed in the food and how the owner did not understand our complaints. He was more concerned about justifying their mistake rather than just doing it right...
