Subway — Restaurant in Crystal Lake

I've been going to this Subway for years, and have not had problems in the past. My rating would have been 4 stars or better in the past. But when the sandwich artist, who I hadn't known from the past, coughs on my sandwich as she's making it, and also on the open ingredient and condiment bar rather than attempting to turn her head away (and continuing to do it for the next customer as I was leaving), it makes you wonder what other sanitary precautions she was ignoring. It didn't even seem as if she was sick; it was just sort of a habitual, relatively forceful cough. This happened at yesterday evening 5/18/18. I threw the sandwich away after I paid for it, and bought another one elsewhere. I didn't say anything, because it's not my place to discuss personal hygiene with others, I don't think. I waited in line and the tall blonde guy took my order for one foot long. He made the footlong and then started working on another order after I told him I had one more order. His coworker then proceeded to finish the first foot long and I once again told him that I had one more order for a foot long, he brushed it off and told the red haired woman at the cash register that the footlong was for me and that I wanted another footlong but he didn’t know what kind. He then proceeded to help the blonde make the order he was working on and they all ignored the fact that I hadn’t even ordered my second footlong. They have this tendency to be dismissive of you when you order and they take forever to get orders ready. Subway in CrystaLake on Route 14 is our favorite Subway location . I always ask to put on extra veggies. I get a 12" sub and took picture of the second half. It's so fresh and they are generous with their veggies. Through the app we get points. Today we got two footlong and also got couple $ off and were able to combine it with their promo. We have been going to them for a few years and switched from another town that they are not as generous with their toppings. Great job on being prompt and following our special requests!
