Well I sent an email and no response. Here is my email: Dear Jimmy I have taken some time to think about this email and gave my self time to calm down before I write it. I am writing this email hoping I get a response before I leave a review. We visited your restaurant a year ago and have been talking about it ever since then. We were back in town this past weekend and just could not wait to go back talking it up with the other 3 people we came with. We even warned them about the wait and said it is well worth it. Well we waited about an hour to be seated and that was expected. Our waitress so sweet took our order and all good. Well an hour later we have not received our food so I asked the waitress will it be much longer. I see everyone around getting their food. She said let her check and she will be right back. She comes back with an apology and explains that they have a new printer and there have been issues, but that our order never went threw and that they are putting a rush on it and it will be about 25 minutes. My husband and friend had both ordered the fish of the day cobia and it was cold. The sides were warm, but the fish was cold. We called over our waitress and told her the fish was cold and my husband just wanted to send his back and our friend was soooo hungry he just ate it. He didn't want to wait any longer. We asked to speak with the manager and she said she will go get him. 25 min later the waitress came back and asked if the manager came over and we said no. So she said she will go get him. 5 minutes later this person walks over with his hands in his pockets did not introduce himself or make eye contact and he walks up saying there was a printer issue and he was sorry our order was missed. My husband was talking to him explaining the situation and about the cold food and the manager said I apologize and walked away. All 5 of us were in shock that he had nothing to say and just walked away. No introduction of who he was and did not seem to have any concern or care and just walked away from us. He walked up like some little kid who is in trouble with his hands in his pockets and no eye contact and no introduction of who he was and then didn't want to here anymore so he said I apologize and walked away. Well that is probably what really made us mad. We were very polite with the situation and our complaints, so I found someone told them the manger walked away from us and we would like to talk to him. She said his name was Shawn. Shawn the manager comes back and says yes what do you need. We said you just walked away from us and he said sorry I thought we were done. We told him he was very unprofessional that he did not introduce himself and to just walk away from us and he said well I am sorry there is nothing else I can say and then walked away again!!!!! Really?!! How unprofessional. He should not be in a management position. . Felt like your restaurant was full and that we were just 5 people just visiting and that our opinion did not matter. Just be gone. I have never felt so unimportant like that before. Not that we are important people, but they way he acted and dismissed us twice and just did not care or want to be bothered. We asked for Jimmy's contact and one girl said oh let me get it for you and then she never came back as we were leaving she said oh I do not have it. I mean we were made to feel like shit on the bottom of someone's shoe. The attitudes were like oh well just deal with it. What do you want me to do about it. One minute you offer us chowders but we already had some ordered the manager did not offer us anything else. Said as a courtesy they will take the fish off the bill. Like he was doing us a favor. Of course you take the fish off the bill, my husband sent it back. My husband ate my food so I didn't really eat and ate a sandwich at the hotel. We still made sure we took care of our waitress because it was not her fault. We paid our bill and left. I was livid on how that man made us feel, so I took some time to cool off before I sent this email. Thankyou...

The food, ambiance, and staff are out-of-this-world fantastic! Trigger warning: Yes, you'll see a few complaints and comments regarding the "no mask required" sign posted on their door, but look, if you are uncomfortable with that, then take your business elsewhere! No need to shame or bully this establishment--especially if you didn't even dine here. That said, there was still a long line outside their doors. It's THAT good. I can't imagine how crazy busy they would be during non-COVID times. When we arrived, we were placed on a waiting list (10 parties ahead of us), but we asked to be seated at the bar as soon as it became available. Dustin (the host) was so kind to let us know when the seats were available. Might I mention that he was so cheerful and sweet greeting us and all the customers--immediately made us feel welcomed when we arrived! After we sat down at the bar, we were promptly greeted by Taylor, our amazing bartender. She is a total sweetheart!! We joked and laughed with her all night, and you could tell she was definitely well known and loved by all the regulars.
We were starving and everything looked so amazing so naturally we ordered everything. Literally everything. The special deal that night was BOGO (buy one get one) dozen oysters. Um yes please!! I'm pretty picky about oysters, but these definitely met my expectations! So fresh and sweet! We also ordered a pound of crawfish ($7 for a pound), which was plenty! We even had some leftover to take home. They were nice and spicy! This was the first time I had crawfish and boy am I glad this was the place to try them! We also ordered gator bites which were like popcorn chicken, but alligator instead. I've never had alligator so I had to try them--it's very much like chicken, but tougher. The spicy sauce it came with was great!
For our entrees, I ordered the scallops with sides of collard greens and jambalaya. I had a hard time choosing between the collard greens or corn, but Taylor recommended the collard greens, so I went with that. The collard greens were a bit salty for my taste, but they still tasted fantastic. Taylor was so sweet to bring out a side of the corn for me to try as well. I liked the corn more, but that's just because I'm not a huge fan of salt. The jambalaya had chunks of sausage and chicken in it, very well spiced and bursting with flavor. You can choose to have your scallops grilled, blackened, or fried. I chose to have mine grilled because it retains the natural flavor of the scallop the most. It was so perfectly made! My friend got the catfish etouffee which was fried catfish smothered in this rich sauce that had chunks of crab and crawfish in it. This is the THIRD time he has ordered this dish...and I get why. It was bursting with flavor and texture. I'll probably get this next time, although I'm gluten-intolerant...but it's totally worth it! They also have a separate gluten-free menu, which is just fantastic.
The owner, Jimmy, walked around and chatted with all the customers and performed magic tricks. This is what I mean by magic (I mean, besides the food being astounding...), Jimmy performed the coolest magic tricks that got my head hurting trying to figure out what I just witnessed. It was so fun and entertaining!
Sorrynotsorry for writing an essay. Words alone can't justify just how amazing of a dining experience I had at Seafood Seller. You just have to go and try for yourself. I promise you won't regret it! I definitely look forward to returning here every time I visit this area. Thank you Jimmy and staff for such a wonderful and...
Read moreWe arrived about 5 pm on a Sunday and had about a 20 minute wait. We tried sitting at the bar but it's pretty high compared to the seats we were sitting in. I wondered about this place since it's in a strip mall but it so exceeded expectations. We had a few encounters with several employees, hostess, waitress (ours was named Heavenly and she really was a delight), manager ( I didn't catch her name when she told me cause it was loud with the kitchen doors opening), food runners, bar runner, bartender, and all of them were friendly. The placemats and online talk about everyone being treated like family. We saw and experienced that. We tried and loved the fish spread! They make it with smoked amberjack and habanero peppers. The heat isn't front and center. It appears at the end of the bite and not overpowering. The salads were fresh, cold and crisp with lettuce, tomatoes and bell peppers. My husband enjoyed the oysters on the half shell. I had the blackened grouper with steamed broccoli and my husband had the stuffed shrimp with steamed broccoli. The broccoli was cooked perfect and was a pretty green color. We asked for melted butter to pour over it. The grouper was cooked perfect and wasn't fishy tasting or smelling. It was nice and fresh off their boat(s). The shrimp was wrapped in bacon with a bit of blue crab cake, then battered and fried. The coating adhered to the shrimp and stuffing and was a nice golden brown. Every bit of food we saw being carried to the tables, from appetizers to dessert, looked magnificent. They also have a fish counter where you can buy fresh seafood to take home and cook. We saw some seasonings, sauces and frozen prepackaged boudin in the case for sale also. By the time we had 2 entrees, 2 appetizers and a bottle of wine for $38 our total was over $100. We visited again, August 2023, about 5pm on a Sunday and had about a 20 minute wait just like in January 2023. We ordered the delicious fish spread again 😋. We both ordered shrimp and grits. The waitress asked if we wanted cheese on top so we said sure. Cheese wasn't mentioned on the menu. They put lots of sautéed onions and bell peppers on top of the grits. So my husband scooped most of his off. The shrimp have a nice seasoning. They are served with the tales still on instead of mixed in with the grits like I've had at other places. Not that that's bad it's just an FYI for anybody who'd like to know ahead of time. My husband enjoyed the slice of warmed bourbon pecan pie. They make the pralines there. We bought 2 to bring home. They are packed full of pecans! So was the pecan pie. When we got the check the shrimp and grits were $24 a plate instead of $21 like the menu showed. I asked our waitress and she said she hasn't worked there that long and was told to ask if people want cheese but didn't know there's an extra charge. She spoke with the manager and they took the extra charge off. That was nice of them to do since the menu doesn't have that listed nor did the waitress know to tell us. Extra charge for cheese is commonplace in lots of restaurants however $3 for cheese is absolutely...
