I like most Harbor Freight stores and have been a Harbor Freight customer for almost 35 years, shopping at the ones closest to where I live. While the stores might not have everything in the sales emails sent out by HF marketing, this HF in Crystal River seems constantly NOT to have most of the sales items in store during the sale. I have to drive 28 miles to get to this location or 29 miles in a different direction to get to the next nearest HF. I have been here 3 times in the past month, and all 3 times, this store did not have 3/4 of the sale items I came to buy. Another customer struck up a conversation with me today about that very subject, that this location rarely has the advertised merchandise in stock and never knows when it will arrive and won't save it for you when it does. Like baseball, 3 strikes and you're out. I will drive that extra mile to go to a HF location elsewhere that usually does have the sales items actually in stock.i hate wasting gasoline and time and not get most of what I need in a trip. On the plus side, they have free off street parking for customers. They accept cash and major credit cards for payment. They have automatic exterior door openers making access by those usually wheelchairs and walkers...
Read moreI posted on yelp but it’s obvious that doesn’t get seen. I have yet to feel the need to post a review until today. My wife took me to this ocation to look at some too boxes and i had my heart set on the $4000 icon tool box, it looked like a great box, but with a price tag like that and the warranty i had some questions, with it about to be discontinued. I asked the helpful young man to bring me a manager and we were actually feet away from the office. I heard the worker ask the manager joel if he could speak for a second and he rudely said loudly "I'm on lunch, no!" And to be honest i understand that but his rude demeanor lost our business. I'm heading to Lowe's tomorrow to pick up a husky double deck tool box instead. Please close the door when you plan on sounding annoyed...
Read moreBought a gas powered post hole digger ( auger).it dug 7 holes in sand and the cable disconnected from the throttle and i hooked it back up dug 2 more and came off again and i hooked it up again a throttle stuck open cause it came off again. From looking at it t would keep coming off because the cable where it goes to the carb was cheap plastic and the way it s attached gave it the opportunity to keep falling off. So i returned it. Also bought a laser level tat was suppose to go long distance so it said but when got it home it said in the manual 20 feet. Well in the dark maybe but in regular light 7 feet it was hard to see. I kept it because its a reminder why not to buy anything from there. Remember this...
