Mickey's Bar Crystal River — Restaurant in Crystal River

Mickey's sign outside says food. We got there on a slow day and went inside to check it out. It seems to be a decent bar but the lack of food wasn't good. Especially since it was advertised on the sign. It seems like it could be a good place if more people showed up and there was less of the "we only talk to people we've known for 20 years" mentality. When everyone turns their back on you and has an in-depth discussion about Joe and his cow, it doesn't make you really want to come back again. Maybe try being friendly to the new people unless you just want to have the same old crowd for the next 50 years. The place has a great location. Right in the middle of everything. Not sure if we'll be going back or not. Maybe if we were completely skunked we might wander in. I'll have to think...

Great owners employees and patrons very friendly always have something going on there. Live music, karaoke, truck shows, reggae parties and much more. They have a kitchen during the day and on Sunday Monday they have Leon Cook and his Soul food being made on the side of the building. If you've never had his barbecue you're missing out. Leon always sells out people come back for extra, they bring it home for their neighbors. And of course inside Mickey's has TVs pool tables video machines a full liquor bar and very friendly bartenders and not to mention..Not hard...

I've always had a good time here, never any trouble. Been going since it opened. I don't go a lot, but when i do its great. The changes are nice. Seems there has been a change and it don't matter to me.

This bar will continue to be a good randevu point. The drinks are priced fair, they're is smoking outside, music, its just perfect. You can do what you want. I wanna get my band in there to play.
