😲 oh wow! I've been to a lot of ice cream shops in my long life, and I've never encountered one where the 2 (yup only 2)counter workers actually worked the enormous amount of people so proficiently & friendly. They didn't get upset at all the customers that kept coming in. They actually seemed to like working. There were probably 30 people who came through while we sat and enjoyed our icecreams and none of them were in line long. The waffle cones are out of this world! They were out & were currently making more, but they did have some waffle 'chips' that are just as fantastic with the ice cream. They were thin and crispy perfectly! The ice cream was delicious. I have a new favorite, the Mother Load, is it. If you even have a hint of wanting ice cream, you have to go to this place....

I asked advice for a good ice cream shop in town, and Pearl's Crooked Cone Creamery was the one and only recommendation, and boy she did not disappoint. With a touch of southern hospitality serving the coldest Central Dairy Ice Cream around, the whole experience was truely delightful. It was an excellent afternoon joint for our daddy-daughter date, and we felt right at home with the homey dining area. I had myself 2 scoops on one of their house recipe waffle cones. We had an ice cream craving after hiking in the area, and we are so glad we found this place! The ice cream was great - the cherry flavor was unique and great. Also, good malts can be hard to find, and their handmade dark chocolate malt was excellent. The man who helped us was very friendly and welcoming to out-of-towners. The atmosphere here is fun and clever with lots of great nostalgia....
