This place has an amazing environment next to the ocean side. That’s the only reason it got a star for the review. We had a waiter that served us our first order of drinks and an appetizer then ghosted us for an hour and a half. In the meantime my girlfriend went to use the restroom and slipped on the wet floor hurting her hip and right forearm. A waitress seen what had happened and informed the staff. That’s the only reason someone came to our table after my girlfriend returned. It wasn’t the waiter but another guy who I think was the manager. He said the only thing he can do is get medical attention if needed. My girlfriend said she doesn’t believe she needed the medical attention but would like to order some food explaining how we’re hungry due to the previous waiters lack of customer service. The manager said he would take our order and get it right out with complimentary first round of drinks for the trouble. We thanked him, he took our order and another half hour goes by. As we watched the restaurant guests come and go after our arrival we became irritable (my girlfriend in pain from the fall) so we began to leave the table to pay for our appetizer and first round of drinks. We were told that our food was 5 minutes from being done and they would get it to go for us so we accepted and waited next to the entrance of the restaurant. As we were waiting we noticed the table we were sitting at sat guests and our original waiter took their order and served them drinks and appetizers. When he returned to the bar I said to him “ you can serve them but completely ignore us. After that altercation another bar tender invited to fight him outside which I kindly obliged. Once again nothing but empty promises from the classy establishment. In fact they were so in over their heads that they recruited another gentleman sitting at the bar who also offered empty promises to take care of the tenders dirty work and beat me up outside. Well to make a long story short… The manager came out with our doggie bag of food and told us to pay and leave. Well my girlfriend wasn’t wanting the food anymore and told them she’d only pay for what we consumed. So he (the manager) said we were freeloading and wanted it all for free. So I showed him, we paid and left. Worst dining...

Dinghy Dock Restaurant, just off the Coast of Puerto Rico, on the island of Culebra, is one of the most stunning views in a restaurant in the Caribbean.

The food was awesome. They had a range of food choices from Puerto Rican cuisine to comfort foods. We tried the Fried local Snapper, The filet, and the Ribs and all were cooked to perfection with good portion size. The also have a full service bar. We had our share of Puerto Rico's favorite drink. Pina Coladas.

After a day on Flamenco Beach we had a great time relaxing and enjoying the island at the restaurant which sits at water level.

We took the ferry from Cieba which costs about $4.50 per person round trip. But get to the ferry at least 2 hours before the departure time to try to get tickets because they are in high demand. You can buy the limited pool of tickets online if you catch them early enough.

The hills that surround the waterfront give the restaurant a magical isolation from civilization that is unmatched by the hotel lined beaches in San Juan. The atmosphere is laid back. All tables we saw were covered from direct sun.

It is definitely recommended to make a reservation as soon as the restaurant opens. Tables are in high demand there.

We rented a golf cart for driving around the island, which made it easier for us to park. And it avoided the Taxi fares, which ran about 10 dollars to get from the ferry station to the restaurant. But you can walk there from the dock in about 10 minutes. We would not suggest walking from the beach as it is too far.

There is limited street parking. There did not appear to be easy access for anyone in a wheelchair or with difficulty walking.

They also have a men's and women's public bathroom.

The service was pretty good. The server knew the menu well and made great suggestions.

This is a wonderful place to go for a romantic or family meal. And everyone we met was friendly and engaging and having a pleasant time. Some patrons tossed bread to the fish that swim around the edge of the dock. It was pretty cool to see the fish come up to get the food.

This place has it all when it comes to a tropical, fantasy dining location.

We would definitely go back again and again to try more menu items or to just have drinks and take...

Give other places your business. We didn’t realize at first but they seated us at a table in the bar area. Our waitress brought us drinks quickly and then disappeared. We only realized we were seated in the bar area when it was difficult to get the attention of our waitress and people seated after us at tables near us and apparently not in the bar area were already getting their food. Someone else from the bar took our order. Then eventually the original waitress came back we said we already ordered. But we gave here a drink order. After 20 min we asked the second bar attendant about our drinks and then the first brought them a few min later. After 15 more min we were worried our food order was never placed and we checked w a regular waitress to check on our food since the bar keeps were too busy. After five min I decided to go to the kitchen to ask about our food and saw the regular waitress who said it was coming right out. A few min later the food came out. This was 1 hour and 25min after we originally sat down. Turns out the owner brought it out and offered us a free desert. He said they were backed up. We didn’t know he was the owner at the time. He left. Food was coldish. it was clear it was sitting for some time waiting to be brought to the table. When we were told it was coming right out, they must have put it in a microwave to heat it up. We had waited 40min for the table and then waited an additional 1h25m for food. It was after closing and the place was now half empty. We told them as we were leaving the food was cold. They said we should have told them and they would have fixed it. We wanted out. We didn’t want to wait for them to microwave our food some more. The owner said he was sorry we had such a terrible experience. His words. We just told him the food was cold. He didn’t care. It was late. They have plenty of business. He didn’t care it was terrible for us. There are plenty of other places in town. Give other places...

This place is awesome and is my 3rd time here. Sadly, this last time I was disappointed because of the host treatment. She was rude. When we asked for a table said 1 hour or less when three tables were empty and only two people were in the waiting list. We decided to wait and asked if we could wait in the bar, she responded in a rude tone again and said she has nothing to do with the bar. Finally, we got a table. A nice guy took our order. We asked for 7 bushwhacker and guess what? The one Thais had nothing to do with the bar served our drinks in the table. She also served some of our plates and kind of throw them in the table, no gentle serving. We were so disappointed that asked the first guy that served us that we did not want her to serve anything more in the table. Then the guy took care of our service the rest of the night. Our experience was terrible because of the service since the beginning. Even though the guy was nice and apologize for her co-workers attitude, it was too much to handle for any client. Her name was Amy and was very short, looked like a minor. I hope that the administration of this awesome place take care of their employees attitude which at the end are the face of the restaurant. I did not give 1 star because the food was great as always. Except for my cousin ribs which he can barely eat because they were gummy an with little actual meat . Also mamposteao’ was offer and then denied because they did not have it available. However I need to say that my Salmon was very good. And that the rest of my friends plates were also great. We were 7 so the food was 6/7 good. Also there was live awesome music.
