Point first, not recommended as there are some specific servers with terrible attitude! We got on the island in early morning on Thanksgiving. Most cafes or restaurants were not open, so we chose this one. I bought an unheated microwave food as I tried to get on the ferry on time, I was not able to heat it before as we were in a hurry. I asked a server that if he could heat the food for me, and I would pay he 2 USD. He asked his supervisor, and he said he could. I thought the store was full with this kind of nice servers. But the result is NO🥲 My friends and I ordered some pastries and large size drink( btw the size is actually not large in our common sense, it is just the most little size of cups from Starbucks)We stayed there for a couple times as we were waiting for our guestroom's office open. However, a woman server asked us to leave as there were some customers not seated. We came and ordered food, and we didn't have any place to go. We tried several times to call or even visit the office lots of times, but just did not work. We told the woman server, and she asked us to try again to reach the guestroom. I left to reach the guestroom office. However, my friends said they were forced to leave as the woman server brought two "helpers" and forced them to leave. We were so upset and disappointed, so I left this comment. Hope no one will have the same bad...
Read moreTried to eat at this place twice. Both times unsuccessfully. The first time, nobody even acknowledged our presence in front of the counter for roughly 15 minutes, so we left. There was nobody inside except us. The second time, we came in around noon. Same treatment. We called the person behind the counter to be served after a 10-minute wait right in front of him. He turned around with a sour face, noticed that his friends were walking in, said 'THE LINE STARTS THERE' (pointing at his friends who were in the middle of the dining area by then). Needless to say, we were on our way out in no time. I understand the 'locals first' policy for the ferry but, in a tourist-driven economy like Culebra's, this is not just unacceptable, this is beyond...
Read moreThis little take out place is busy with pastry, coffee, breakfast all day items. You can get basic breakfast items here such as fried eggs, egg wrap, scrambled eggs, and sandwiches. The cappuccino that we got was not good at all. Fried eggs with toast and soggy bacon was edible. The cubana was just mediocre with dried pork. Flavor was lacking. This is the only restaurant on culebra that has all day breakfast so if you plan on getting up late this option might be the only option you have so it is worth going to if you want is fried eggs or scrambled eggs. But if you want to really good coffee and espresso drink go to...
