Ordered two large pizzas at 7pm they were ready at 945pm and burned black.
We kept asking if they were ready and were told “were a little behind” with a stare that we should just be patient and stop asking. At 9pm the otherwise nice waitress came up to me to let me know that our order was misplaced and our pizzas are being put in the oven. Oops!?!?20minutes she said. Yeah that took another 45. I get the island time thing but 2hrs and 45 minutes for a pizza is nuts… and especially as we sat in the restaurant and kept asking them. I think we were pretty nice and as patient as anyone can be but seriously WTH!
We were offered free drinks. Haha. At that point food and drinks should be on the house.
Independent of the disaster delay the pizza was mid. Burned black and only eaten because we were starving and no other options at this point.
Find another option. There is a great pizza place around the corner next to ferry where we saw the locals eating….a bit too late for us.
Atmosphere was ok. Nice bar, and staff was friendly minus the delay.
Another group said their pizza took two hours. Maybe also missplaced? The locals that ordered seemed to get theirs relatively fast but maybe knew to...
Read moreHeather's Pizza is probably the absolute poorest dining experience I have had in a very long time. Maybe ever. We stopped by for some pizza since we had time to kill before our ferry. We waited over an hour and a half for 4 slices of pizza. Half of our group finally left to get in line for the ferry while the other half of us stayed to get the pizza. They finally brought it out after almost 2 hours and we sprinted to the ferry. I might have looked past the INSANE wait if the pizza had been even remotely edible. I ordered a pizza with Jalepenos on top and it looked like they opened a can of them and dumped the entire can on top of my pizza. It was just a PILE of jalepenos on top of a mountain of cheese. It's really hard to mess up pizza (I'll happily eat Little Caesars or a variety of other low quality pizza) but they managed to. We ordered 3 different slices of pizza and every type was quite gross. I was beyond disappointed and will actively be discouraging everyone to eat here. The wait is unreasonable and it was made worse by truly...
Read moreOmg! Don't be fooled by the pizzeria sign. They have amazing food!!! First let's start off with the actual pizza. They have a pizza called the Boriqua. Omg, first let's start by saying its made on their authentic Puerto Rican bread "Pan de Aqua" as the crust. Anyone who has experienced this bread would understand. Then they add ground beef , cheese and maduros (ripe plantains) We were all fight for the last piece. We ordered it half Boriqua and half "Oasis" which was a white pizza with garlic spinach ricotta and mozzarella cheese. Both were delicious but next time we will order them separately as full pizzas because I'm thinking they will taste even better the next day. My cousin who's a male version of a KAREN who complains about everything ordered the lasagna. He's still talking about it! He was blown away on how delicious it was! The service was awesome and super accommodating. We can't wait to get back to Culebra to go back...
