This is not my first visit to ChocoVivo. I had stopped by years ago when she first opened on Abbot Kenny. The new store on Washington Blvd is awesome because I remember when she had the idea to open a social place where she can also create the chocolate fast forward to almost 4 years in the future and Boom!
First step in you are hit with the warm smell of pure Cacao. I ordered a sipping chocolate with a 100% and Mayan spiced (50%) mixture, blended in Hazelnut milk. It came out to almost $6 which is a bit pricey, but I think the price is worth it when you see their process, or lack there of in the way the Cacao is prepared. The most telling factor of the price is most definitely the taste. Nut milks normally get over cooked, leaving your cup full of a separated chalky tasting substance, unless you tell them to back off on the heat. In this case I forgot to and she hit the nail on the head. So its obvious she cares about the taste on not only her featured product, chocolate, but she also considers how the quality of her complementary ingredients will greatly effect the taste over all. A+ for caring.
I don't recommend you get what I had everyday, you'll go broke and have a serious addiction, but I do recommend this place when ever you want to taste something great and celebrate life.
P.s there's tons of other cool items on...

I was warmly greeted by a couple staff members - Eric and Sean! They warmly welcomed me into the store and explained their menu and what they offered.
They have chocolate tastings!! YUM! :D They have several different types of chocolate. You had the option of doing a piece of chocolate for $1.50 each, 3 pieces for $3, or 6 pieces for $5.
I tried the 85% cacao, almond and sea salt, and coffee & vanilla bean. All of them were AMAZING! :)
They also have hot chocolate, iced hot chocolate and coffee drinks. I decided to go with the Hot Chocolate with 75% cacao and organic milk for $4.50. SO AMAZING! It's basically like a melted dark chocolate drink that just warms you up and brings out the biggest smile on any chocolate lover's face! :)
For parking, there are some meters and some residential parking. Can be a little difficult since it's right next to Water Loo.
They also sell chocolate bars, jams, and other goodies. And they have free Wi-Fi! :)
I am definitely coming back again! So happy that I live so close to this place! Perfect place for a date, to study or read, for dessert, or to just fulfill that...

It feels wonderful on the face/skin and smells like cacao and palo santo which is an intoxicating combination The unsweetened Hazelnut Choco butter is a great snack for those watching their sugar intake.
