We happened to go on a very slow day and we got casual, quick, and friendly service before we headed to the airport. Nice selection of local beers, canned sake, and some wines. Sweet back patio area! So the carefully structured bahn mi had yummy bread, fresh veggies, and nice fatty pork ($18). I chose the $20 Battle Royal burger. The server asked me if medium temp for the burger was okay, and I emphatically said yes. When it arrived, the burger patty was small and basically well done which was a tiny bummer but the fresh avocado and perfectly cooked & well seasoned egg on top made up for it. Entrees do not come with anything on the side so be prepared to order the crispy fries to share! The only reason I didn't go for the five stars is because due to the open kitchen and prep room/ dish pit being wide open for viewing, I didn't see any of the employees wash their hands or change gloves after adjusting personal hats or touching various surfaces; one guy even fist bumped a customer and then went back to work. The employees all looked like awesome people who I would definitely grab a beer with but they were a tad bit relaxed on the food handling safety aspect of a restaurant-- which isn't a deal breaker since I know exactly how back of houses operate but you would think that some attention to cleanliness would be adhered to with such a wide open kitchen. Come here for fun american/ Japanese fusion burgers & hot dogs, salads & curry and don't skip the local craft beer or imported sake!

We ended up here recently on our way to the airport - a happy accident if you will (the first place we tried didn't let anyone under 21 in and we had kids with us...). The Obaasan chicken sandwich and the Spam Musubi burger were both amazing! The sauce on the Obaasan was stellar. The Spam Musubi burger was flavorful - only complaint food-wise is the fried egg was solid so no runny yolk on burger, making it a little dry. The kids' popcorn chicken and burger were both well-liked too. Service was friendly and attentive. We sat on the patio because that was what was available for 4, and appreciated that they turned on the heater for us. The view outside was basically the trashcan while the servers came and scraped all trays into the outdoor trashcan throughout our meal. Other than that, it was a very enjoyable meal.

Today around 5:40p I arrived at this store for the first time to pick up food. I walked in and right away there were 2 chefs cooking. A "white guy" with a beard and I guy with curly black hair. There was also a "white guy" sitting at the bar eating. And another "white girl" having a full blown conversation with the customers. I told the chef with the curly black hair. That I was picking up an order but I had to stop by the restroom first. He shocked his head uninterested and continued to do what he was doing. But both chefs acknowledge the fact that I was a customer picking up food. I leave the restroom and I am back at the bar waiting. Both chefs see that I am now waiting for someone to help. Or greet me or do anything along the line of customer service skills. It now has been 3-4mins. I am still waiting but no one has said anything to me. All of sudden the "white" guy that was sitting at the bar eating. Well he actually works there. But he only gets up to answer his phones notifications and sits back down. Meanwhile the "white chef" with the beard looks dead at me for 10 secs. Walks over fills his cup with soda. Next I am assuming logs out for break. Welp. Smh. So now I am getting very annoyed. Because its clear no one wants to help. They could care less about helping. So immediately I ask the guy at the bar eating. Do you work here? He replies quickly yes but I am on break. Smh again. I then explain to him that I have been waiting for like 7-8mins now. To pick up food and will anyone be helping me. He then signals to call the "waitress". Named Oga aka "white girl". That has been talking with customers the whole time I have been here at the store. She walks over surprised like she did not even notice me. The only person in the store waiting to be helped. So now Dunkin the guy at the bar on break jumps up from the bar. Grabs my food that has been ready the whole time. I have been here just sitting on the counter. I asked both of them. What is their names and I grab my take out. And I left annoyed at this store wack customer service. And to be honest out of all the people I mentioned with below average customer service skills. The worst has to be the "white guy" with the beard, chef. Because he acknowledged me looked me dead in my face. With the I dont care if you need help face. And made a point to fill his cup with soda then go on break. Your a loser Sir if you hate your job do something else. Because your customer service is trash to say the least. Oga..Dunkin should not have to do your job if he is on break. Learn how to shut your trap and be attentive to other customer needs. This store gets an negative 1 out of 10 for customer service . 😞 5:40p...

The menu is filled with great flavors and combinations for their hot dogs and burgers. But sadly, my first experience with them was a bit more of disgust than enjoyment. I ordered my food to go and maybe that was the issue instead of having my meal as a dine-in to experience my food options as they prepare it instead of trying to prepare it myself?

I went with the three little pigs which was pretty tasty as a big mess of meat and cheese over tater tots. Included pork belly, bacon, spam, grilled onions, cheese, and even a sunny side up egg. Can't complain about this dish as it is good but better for sharing, probably too much for one person and that may have been where it made my next dish a bit more unappetizing.

Went with the Katsu Dog since I was feeling more as a hot dog than hamburger type of night and it is panko crusted hot dog with slaw and a fried egg spread over it. The Japanese curry was given to me on the side in a container for me to spread over it when I get home so I guess the dog doesn't get messy on your trip home in your car- so that's thoughtful. But the curry was too salty and tasted like gravy, it was probably because I ordered too much fried food in this instance. I have heard great things from others about this place but for now I give it an average rating, but willing to return and try something else on the menu and hopefully raise my rating for them.

Service was super busy that night so it took a while for the waitress to take my order and my food to come out...about 15-20 minutes to take my order, and then 30-40 minutes after that to get my food..a bit pricey since everything on the menu seems to be a minimum of $10/each but for the exotic tastes and...
