Old Man Bar — Restaurant in Culver City

SCAMMERS! They don't care if they over charge you!

I was severely over charged, not once but TWICE! I called 5 times until someone answered the phone. They told me I needed to email them about my over charge and include the time/date I visited, what I purchased, and the last numbers of the credit card I used. I emailed them all of that information immediately, 4 days ago without reply.

I asked the bartender for my receipt to sign the bill and give him a tip, he responded "It's not necessary, I took care of it" I took him at his word, big mistake at this establishment apparently

Well now I know not to trust the staff at this bar from the bartender to the manager.

I will never come back and will never recommend this bar to another person....

My first drink wasn't great (rum and coke with what I'm assuming was well-rum), but the long island was good. My friends liked their drinks. The atmosphere/aesthetic of the place is gorgeous. I love the wood and antlers. However after the first half hour the music got too loud. It's not really a dance-hall kind of place so that bit was annoying (having to yell to talk to people). Also it's located right next to a place called the Hatchet Hall which has a door that does not have the name on it so it can be confusing realizing whick establishment you are in if you have not been there before (if you didn't enter the one door that says "old man bar" on the corner). Overall a good place to hang...

Screams Hipster

We walk in, the first thing I notice is some dudes dressed like lumberjacks next to a fireplace with the air conditioning blasting heheheheheh.

The place has a really cool feel inside but the staff seem very unfriendly, just like the other reviews had mentioned.

We waited and waited and waited for someone to take our money to purchase some $$$ drinks. The bar "tender" came over and took a drink order for two of the four people in our party. We waited and waited a bit more and finally got our drink order in for everyone so we could "Cheers".

Cool place but the vibe could be friendlier, and with all the Hipstas Im surprised they dont...
