I attended last night, my husband and I went after the holiday festival down on the square looking for cocktails and dessert. We arrived at 10:00 pm. We asked the waitress if it was too late to sit down, she was French, warm and welcoming. She said we don't close for a half hour yet. Come have a seat... She sat us by a lovely fire. She asked what would we like to eat as she gave us menus. We explained we just wanted cocktails and dessert. She said that was fine. We ordered crepes and ice cream. 40 dollars worth of dessert and another 50 dollars for 3 drinks. The food was just below mediocre, hands down the worst crepes I ever had! And I love crepes. The crepes were stale with a thin smear of Nutella inside folded over in half then a few small slices of not so good quality banana. The ice cream was big, but tasted like knock off Ralph's brand, not so much flavor outside of the flavor of corn syrup. Worst of all, the restaurant was full, my drink was full, when a member of the staff came over to our table and said the restaurant is closing you have to leave now. I said ok soon as I finish my $20 martini, that you just served me. He left came back 5 minutes later, and said you must go now. I once again said you just served this drink to me I paid for it I am going to drink it before I go, I'm not going to slam it, as I am driving and on a date with my husband. I stayed 10 more minutes. Got up, told this staff member, due to his rudeness, he can be sure I will never come back. He said please don't. When I left five other tables were still dining, it was about 10:45, as I arrived at my car at 11:00 pm. Btw, I know French people have a reputation for being short, but he was not French he was Mexican. Typically, I love Mexican people, and I also love Mexico, but he was not your typical warm and kind Mexican. He was rude and awful as can be. We spent over $100 dollars trying to have a romantic date night, instead he ruined it and made us feel like homeless people trying to steal a seat at his restaurant. Despicable behavior to patrons they welcomed in! The French waitress was lovely! However I will keep my promise and never go back. I don't need to spend my good hard earned money at a fancy restaurant on a date night with my husband to be disrespected and emotionally abused by some little Mexican man. Shame on you Meet in Paris! Shame to Culver City on your behavior! Btw I had better crepes at my local coffee shop! And your food is nothing like Paris. I have been there, and there is no way a Frenchman would be happy with the food or...

Based on a Tuesday night dinner, 7pm: All patio seating were occupied, so we snagged the last table for 2 inside. The interior is accessorized with warm lighting, large mirrors, dark wood, and merlot colored walls. Wine bottles and bowls of flavorful mussels and seafood found a spot on every table. All eaters indulging happily in conversation with their company and tabletop deliciousness.
FOOD Scottish Salmon: Grilled organic salmon, ratatouille in a sun-dried tomato sauce, $26.
This was fantastic. My dinner companion ensured there was no speck of fish or drop of sauce left on the plate. I snuck a taste of this and definitely would've done the same. The fish was cooked superbly, a slight "crispy" outside, a softness to the flesh inside.
Mussels Pot: Small 8-10 mussels, $17; Large 16-20 mussels, $26 served with fries or salad.
I went for the OCEAN style: clams, whitefish, PEI mussels, calamari, tomato confit, garlic, chablis and thyme in a saffron broth w/garlic aioli croutons. The combination of all the different seafood, herbs, garlic and saffron make it a grand performance of flavors. In addition to soaking some bread into the broth, I even found myself drinking it straight up.
The large was a good amount, a few mussels too much for a petite female/decently big eater, but it's tough to leave anything in the bowl. I'd go back to try more styles, like BISQUE (lobster broth, garlic, white wine, brandy, tomato confit, cream) and MARINARA (merlot, galric, shallots, spicy marinara).
PARKING Go for the garage structures, first 2 hours free.

[DINNER]
$26.95 AYCE Moules Frites (Black Mussels & Fries) on Tuesday and Wednesday Nights! :)
There are 17 different flavors/choices of mussels! :D
What we tried: *Meet in Paris (crab, shallot, saffron, tomato confit, bacon, basil, Chablis) - This was ok.
*Roquefort (Garlic, shallots, Chablis, Roquefort, chives, cream) - One of my favorites! Has a nice cheesy flavor. If you like blue cheese, you'll love this!
*Italiano (Proscuitto, caramelized onions, goat cheese white wine, crushed walnuts, roasted garlic and pesto) - That was ok.
*Ocean (Clams, whitefish, PEI mussels, calamari, tomato confit, garlic, Chablis and thyme in a saffron broth served with garlic aioli croutons) - Very good! A nice mix of different seafood items in the soup. Also strong wine flavor.
*Marinara (Merlot, garlic, shallots, spicy marinara) - Pretty good. Reminds me of mussels dipped in pasta or pizza sauce.
*Bisque (Lobster broth, garlic, white wine, brandy, tomato confit, cream) - DELISH! The flavor was done really well. My friends and I licked the whole bowl clean and even used the bread to scoop up the sauce! We ordered it 2x! :)
*Paella (Calamari, chorizo, shrimp, peas, tomato confit, red bell pepper, saffron, white wine, lemon, parsley, and shallots) - This was ok. It was very soupy and had a strong wine flavor. Didn't really taste like paella to me.
[BRUNCH]
*Bottomless Mimosas for $16.95
*Croque Monsieur (Black forest ham, melted gruyere, bechamel, on a country bread) $12.95 - Tasty! I really enjoyed this dish. Good flavor and texture.
