Beautiful and peaceful temple. We visited and by chance there was festival going on. The deities are graceful and blissful. There is also a vegetarian restaurant next door called Govindas which serves lovely tasty food. A thali is $8 which is a bargain for a nice hot meal. There is also a gift shop upstairs that sells books, souvenirs, womens and mens indian clothing. Make sure you visit the museum too. It costs $15 to get in but well worth the money. The staff and volunteers are very helpful. The whole place gives you a peaceful serene feeling.

Our first time here and the experience was heavenly and peaceful….. we were passing by and decided to stop for the quick Darshan on Sunday, there were few devotees doing Kirtan and it was so nice sitting there to listen to those chanting ….. Temple is beautiful with Stunning Radha Krishna idols and very clean , as we were leaving one of the priest /volunteers gave us the box of atta biscuits as Prashad , super delicious it was 🙏🏻😊🕉Hare Krishna 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Wonderful place that is purified and sacrosanct by Srila Prabhupada’s past present in Los Angeles. Here at ISKCON LA was Prabhupāda living and enjoying cooked food and sweets by His disciples. Outside there is a beautiful garden where Srila Prabhupāda was sitting and lecturing to college professors, philosophers, religionists etc. He is still alive and present among us. Here u will get that feeling!

This place would appear to be a good place because there's tons of great people who attend this place on a daily basis the problem is there's still a lot of negative Judgment at this place but even worse than that you have problems with people who run the place the temple president and the temple president brother I people who should not be in charge or influence in this Temple and anyway very negative people full of spite and hate they try to operate this place has everstar own personal Enterprise if you fit the bill that's up to you with open arms especially if they think you can bring money to the establishment a big thank you can't bring money what they think that you are able to do good free cheap labor then they will accept you and you will have to prove yourself to the temple to the religion or anything of that nature you need to prove yourself to the temple president and his brother also if you look like you won't follow directions really well and you can't bring money to this establishment your Toad and secret not to come back in front of everyone else they'll tell you oh you're welcome please come back the hope to see you again but for those people are not around they'll tell you you can't come back for number of reasons I have personally witnessed and I have some things on video for anyone who would like to see it I have for example the presidents brother of this Temple used to be the president of a temple in Colorado I have videos of both presidents telling people that they cannot come to the temple because they stink God wouldn't accept them in their Temple because they're dirty Garwood and appreciate them because they're poor God would not want them in their simple because they don't have nice clothes so much more I have a video of the temple President telling people they're not welcome at the temple because they eat too much I have a non video recording but a audio recording for the temple president telling people that you're not welcome at the temple cuz their teeth were dirty I have a video oh the temple president allowing someone to stay at the ashram and then in the middle of the night taking them out telling them that basically they were not welcome here because they were interracial couple who supported interracial marriage I have seen and recorded a lot worse won the temple president got win that I in a couple others we're recording these things we have to prove and we were showing it to other people they try to act different towards us and then keep their distance after that but few weeks later they started right back up but in a different manner this time they said the temples vice-president to do the Dirty Work I want to Temple vice president would not do their dirty work they have the temples treasurer do their dirty work I would hate for anyone special someone going to the style of Temple for the first time she experienced this type of behavior I think that this is what the organization of religion is about so I highly recommend tell if you are new to this you stay away from this place there are much better champos that I can recommend you to where you won't be...

I recently visited the Society for Krishna Consciousness of Los Angeles for their annual Rath Yatra event, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. I arrived at the temple early in the morning, right at 4:00 AM, to attend the Mangala Aarti, and I thoroughly enjoyed the serene and divine atmosphere.

After the Aarti, we headed to the main venue at the Venice Library, where the journey began. From there, we started the procession, and it was absolutely beautiful — hundreds of devotees chanting “Hare Rama, Hare Krishna” with so much joy and devotion. The energy, the vibes, and the collective spirit were simply indescribable. We walked along with the crowd for almost 2.5 hours and didn’t feel tired at all; the positivity around kept us going.

Upon reaching Venice Beach, we enjoyed the delicious food, vibrant cultural activities, and the overall festive atmosphere. It was truly a soul-enriching experience, and I’m already looking forward to attending this wonderful event...

I've been going to this place for over 20+ years the buffet with soup and salad is great especially if you love Dahl and some Indian food. There are excellent salad fixings as well. I love the energy of the people and the temple. The gift shop is nice too, they have wonderful incense, jewelry and clothing. My favorite incense spirit guide and many other wonderful aromas. The gift shop has beautiful jewelry, clothing, artifacts, purses and even some cosmetics. I love the energy of the people here. The one thing I love about Los Angeles is that you are exposed to people of every different ethnicity and culture and I love that because we are all the same even in our differences. I've always felt welcomed and loved in this place! I know a lot of people here and years ago took cooking classes here. Their Dahl is excellent and they have Dahl everyday. On Saturday evenings they have nut loaf which is a huge hit and so many people come in for...
