This place leaves the other hot pot places in the dust. My friends were interested in going to another equally new hot pot place nearby, but when I showed them this place, they instantly agreed based on the menu alone. It’s just so easy to read for some particular reason because it’s got all the variety you would want without being overly bloated by weird stuff and similar selections. And the price here for an item can be $1-$3 cheaper than other similar hot pot places. Very quality ingredients in decent portion sizes. The special of the day when I went was the $6 lobster.
There’s a three tier cart next to the table so you don’t overcrowd your table with raw ingredients if you are a slow cooker. There’s also napkins, hand sanitizer, water on the said cart.
From what I can remember, $2.45 per person for the sauce bar. They have a great selection, including leek sauce and MSG. They also have some other snackables like wasabi peas, seaweed salad, purple rice soup, but it was very slim pickings. As in there was barely any left or it seemed like most of the stuff was sitting out for a long time. I tried some stale Terra chips and whatever my stomach would allow.
The whole restaurant is vast; there’s 4 private rooms in the back. The bathroom has a mouthwash/dental pick dispenser. Everything is new and clean, new and clean. The building is old but they did nice things to it. It’s located right next to these old residential structures and shares a parking lot with...
Read moreThe decoration of the restaurant is nice, but unfortunately, the food and service are not up to par. Some of the food seemed stale or not fresh, and overall the quality was average at best. Additionally, the service was poor, with one instance where a waiter spilled soup on a customer without apologizing, and another where they tried to take a plate with a large piece of meat still on it.
The prices were surprisingly high for the quality of the food and service. The owner seemed to prefer cash payments, offering only a small discount for doing so, and also encouraged customers to tip in cash to supposedly benefit their employees.
Unless significant improvements are made, I believe that this restaurant will struggle to compete with other, better...
Read moreSo I have wanted to check this place out for a while and it definitely did not disappoint. The moment you walk in the decor is very chic and modern. Service was phenomenal we were seated right away and all the servers were extremely friendly and polite. We got the Golden Pickle, tomato, and the beef tallow spicy. All were delicious but the golden pickle was my favorite. Be ready for a high level of spicy with the beef tallow it definitely made me sweat but was delicious all the same. All the items were tasty but my favorite was the lucky fish bags, they taste amazing and look super adorable. Definitely will be back to try some of the other broths 5/5...
