KFC — Restaurant in Cutler Bay

If you're touring in South Florida and want to visit the worst KFC in the USA, you should definitely come to this place! Takes an eternity to serve customers, but that's just very a minor detail...please continue reading if you want to enjoy the experience.

When it was finally my turn, one of the members (I'll call her D) slapped the other team member on her arm (I'll call her C) and told her "you've got someone in front of you!; to which C asked, where? drive trhu?, D said: no!, right in front of you!". I smiled, to ease the tension between coworkers. "C" finally was able to focus, looked at me and greeted me coldly. I quickly asked C about a couple of new items I hadn't seen in the menu before; she responded impatiently: "they have pickle sauce" (notice I was the one waiting in line forever), but I was the one rushed at the end.

She took my order, without smiling, or making eye contact, or even speaking. Once seated, I opened the bag, I realized had no utensils (she had put my stuff in a bag, even though I said it was "to dine in", so I hadn't realized about it).

I went to the counter for utensils and "D" (the one who slapped "C" on her arm) told me coldly: we've got no spoons, knifes, or forks. I asked her nicely: but how am I suppose to eat the mash potatoes?

She replied with an attitude: we've got nothing you could use Sir. Then I asked: can I exchange my mash potatoes for some french fries then? We don't have french fries, D said.

At this point I just felt like getting the hell out of there; I wasn't even hungry anymore. I said calmly with a smile: "I'd like to return the meal and get my money back". She shrugged and said: OK, and looked somewhere else.

When I went to the counter with the items to get the refund, a different staff member met me with a fork, holding in like a cookie for a dog for being a "good boy"; we found a fork, the last one, she said!. I said thank you, and went back to my seat with the meal.

Checked the bag again, no napkins. Looked around, all bins were empty (at this point, I did not want to talk to anyone in that place). However, had to go back to the counter: there was no one there. Had to wait for a while. At the end, an older staff member (who seemed to be the manager) gave like 4 napkins with an attitude. After I finished eating, went to the bathroom: it smelled like rotten fish.

If I could be MINUS 2 stars I would give it. Granted KFC is just a fast food restaurant which offers really affordable greasy and tasty food; but it should, in my opinion, have minimum standards if you have the dine-in option. This particular KFC "is the worst KFC...

1 PM 5/25, At Counter I asked for 3 Breasts, 2 biscuits, small fries, small gravy, cashier tells me price "explaining" there's an extra dollar charge after the 1st breast (she said breasts are 2.88 ea.)! Knowing that buying Breasts a la carte is more expensive I ask if that means per breast or after "total" charge, she replies "there's an extra dollar charge" repeatedly, incomprehensibly! The Mgr. comes and explains that buying as a meal would be 3breasts/7.99 & an .89 for a la carte and a .99 cent charge with small wedges, small gravy & 2 biscuits, so that's 10.56 + .69= 11.01 Total.

I thanked the Mgr. for a succinct explanation and finding a way to add food value for my money spent! It's too bad the cashier "D" couldn't explain such a simple transaction or just jump into the a la carte way! My concern is that she was unable to explain or did not pay attention during training enough to be able to explain a very simple transaction! KFC should be more discerning in who it hires!

Lunch with Extra...

Terrible went to get dinner at about 6:30 PM took over 15 minutes before anyone even approached the counter and I was the only one there then the had no chicken no white meat then I tried ordering something else they said the were out of that as well then a family there that ordered before I got there came up to counter and asked about their food said the have been waiting the girl didn't evan know what she was talking about the lady showed her the receipt and then the girl said oh yes now I remember, meanwhile 2 pineapple came in and saw the mess and walked out. I ended up ordering a $5:00 dollar box after paying turns out the half no chicken strips as well lowered me chicken fingers instead at that point I asked to give me my money back, she then said she needs a mgr. After waiting about 10 minutes the Mgr came out and refunded my Money... Arrrr... I've been there hundreds of times for the past 15 years at least and never have I had such a bad...
