Got my first Jersey Mike's sub (Big Kahuna with no onions or peppers for me) through delivery. I typically expect a less than fresh product because of the nature of delivery. However, the sandwich was super fresh.
I chose the white bread although they have 4 or 5 options including gluten free bread and wraps. The roll was super spongey and had some texture on the top. So good. The type of bread you can eat on its own.
The steak was just as spectacular. I read that the meat is sliced right in front of you. Had to look at the reviews, because I was surprised at how fresh and flavorful the meat was.
Same could be said for the other ingredients (cheese, mushrooms, and jalapeño peppers) as well as the cookies when it comes to freshness and tastiness. The style was simple and traditional but very well executed with great ingredients.
Surprised this is a chain. I will say the price was higher than expected, but the portion was plenty (although I wanted more even after being full, just because it tasted so good). And you have options to get really large sandwiches, too, but I just got the regular. It was maybe 10 or 11 inches long and 5 inches wide. Subway or even Jimmy John's can't touch Jersey Mike's, but you pay less there. So you get what you pay for. It's definitely worth the money. I'll be ordering from...
Read moreI have become a regular here I order few times a week for my father. I like their subs more than subway. The staff that normally serve me are really nice. Some of the new kids there are something’s I don’t like. You go to the left to of the deli to order. Sometimes you tell them double meat they write it down but the person who works the grill they don’t always catch it so you have to remind them you have double meat. Not trying to be picky but you’re paying for it you should get it. I’m kind of a neat freak one thing I don’t like is prep table not having all of items filled. If you see only a few strands of onions left why are you not filling it. Few of the young kids just stand there. They have way too much staff not to fully utilize your staff. When you put lettuce on the sand which if it falls on the table you don’t sweep that back into the lettuce bin when you already poured oil and vinegar and oil on it it’s already contaminated. The prep table should be constantly wiped after each use it kinda looks disgusting. Other then few of my peeves I like eating here but just needs a little bit of of leadership to guide these...
Read moreI just spent $41.97 at this location. Upon opening the sub I found my Supreme Club didn't have bacon. I was disappointed so I called the store to ask for maybe $1.00 in credit toward my next visit. One employee told me there wasn't anything they could do unless I drove the subs back to the restaurant. Then Lonnie, the Assistant Manager, proceeded to tell me they wouldn't give me even that credit because I wasn't fully disappointed enough to return the sub. I explained that I own 3 restaurants of a competitor franchise to J.M. but came to the location because I like the sandwiches. At our locations we still give customer service. The call ended with an abrupt answer of there was nothing she could do for me before she hung up abruptly. In this environment, when employees are hard to come by, and competition is so fierce for every dollar, I won't be returning to this location. I recommend retraining the team to include how to handle mistakes when they occur and how to give gold star...
