Jet's Pizza — Restaurant in Cuyahoga Falls

Jet's Pizza specializes in the "Detroit Style" deep dish pizza which is a thick crust in a square pan. Reminiscent of the quick serve lunch lines back in the early 20th century when Detroit was booming when they'd serve you a square piece.

Jet's is huge in Detroit so we were happy to find it here in Akron/Canton. They're too far away to deliver but my wife and I will make the trip if we're feeling a bit "splurgy".

The pizza is more expensive than usual but the difference is in the quality. I love the sauce and the ingredients always taste fresh. They have a special cheese mix which tops off the pizza just right.

My favorite pizza is the DC-10. It's called something else now because of whatever trademarks. "Super-Special" I think?

I highly recommend getting a side order of "Jet Bread". Get it with Bacon and some ranch dipping sauce. The ranch sauce is not from the bottle, it's mixed fresh! At least it was when I used to work at one. It still tastes the same so it should still be made that way.

Deli boats are good for lunch if you don't want a whole pizza.

Their wings are tasty and pretty good. I'm not personally a fan of them because I've been spoiled by the deep fried crispy skin and sauce spun style from places like BWs.

Salads are good. They're not spectacular but they are fresh and the lettuce is always crispy and green. Antipasto is the best, though I like their Greek salad. They have a garden salad but I've never ate it.

Jet's is still one of my favorites pizza places and I will definitely call on them again.

JUST A REMINDER: The delivery boys get a driver fee but it's not a lot. $1 maybe $2. Be sure to give them a tip. It will help them with all the wear and tear they put on their car. ...

My wife told me about this chain she learned about it from her job when they ordered pizza. The crust is different not in a bad but very good way. I've had similar but not in a very long time. The food is good the service seemed dry and almost borderline hostile but I do think this was an anomaly. They have some different and interesting options like flavoring your crust. The size to price ratio threw me they charge as much as any of their competitors but the amount of food you receive to me seems to be less though we did have enough food if I had not purchased the small cheese pizza we may not have. I can usually purchase one large pizza along with wings and bread sticks and have more than enough to feed my family of four, not here though an additional small was needed. All in all the food was good and as long as you get enough...

Got a delivery from some stoner that took the money, delivered the pizza, went to his car and stayed on the side of the road for the longest time, came back and said "this $20 is counterfeit. I can't accept this. Look, if you hold it up to the light, there's a little cartoon character where the president is supposed to be" (For those who dont know, newer $20 bills have only the outline of the president, which was what he was referring to/lying about). Thinking he could screw us he told us "I can't let you have this back, its illegal and I'll have to report this. You need to pay with real money", we managed to swipe the $20 back and give him what we owed minus the tip.

I can't order from here again knowing they hire such shady...
