Unfortunately this is the closest location to my apartment by far.
I've given this location about a dozen chances and not once has it ever gone completely right. Every single order has had at least one item wrong and usually more than that. Wrong proteins, missing add-ons, missing items, wrong drinks, it's always something.
I've never seen anywhere run out of ingredients as often as they do. Nearly half of our visits we've placed an online order only to be told they're out of beans or chicken, usually at the pickup window rather than at the speaker box. You'd think being main ingredients in a large portion of the menu that they'd be a priority to keep stocked. I half expect to be told they're out of tortillas one day.
The service is the slowest I've ever seen at any drive through. The design of the drive through doesn't even allow you to bail out when you realize you're going to be waiting an obscene amount of time. My current record is 37 minutes from arrival to receiving my food.
I can't say a single good thing about this location except they're walking distance to where I live. Unfortunately, it's a curse that I don't have a passable location that close.
Edit:4/14/2021. Gave them another shot just after midnight. No fewer than 3 things went wrong again. The computer system was miraculously down so they couldn't take orders. This is the third time this has happened to us. Lucky me I ordered through their app. The freeze machine is down, I get it can happen but when you offer to swap with a soda there's a price difference and no way to refund me the extra that I paid. And lastly, somehow they were out of beans yet again. The vegetarian in the house is really getting screwed every time we go here. While I won't ding this location for it, it's nearly impossible to get a refund for such poor service. If you can get any help you'll need to jump through multiple hoops, contact them on twitter of all places and maybe get an email back having to screenshot and verify your order (why isn't my order number a valid proof?)
Edit: 7/23/2021. Tried to give them another chance now that the construction blocking the road is over. Should have just gone to a different location. Placed an online order, get told they're out of crunch wraps, flatbreads and freezes. Fine,it's like we'll just sub stuff out. The sub for the crunchwrap never ended up getting made after a 20 minute wait so now my girlfriend is left with barely any food and being vegetarian, can't eat some of mine. We tried calling for almost an hour but it seems they took the phone off the hook to block any customer calls coming in. Guess they got tired of people complaining. My girlfriend is upset and doesn't want to deal with another half hour of waiting to replace food she asked for over an hour earlier at this point. Time to go to customer support and see if they even try to do anything right.
Edit: 10/20/2022. Tried again, yet another regret. Came to pick up a mobile order at 2:30am. The store closes at 3. We're told "we're closed" when we pull up to the speaker. No you're not. We were just charged for an order 10 minutes ago and you're open till 3. Half our order was missing. Some items were unavailable and they said they replaced it with fries...so an item less than $2 replacing almost $10 worth of food. This location needs so much work to even be the bare minimum of acceptable and the only reason I keep going here is because the Kent Rd. Location has mobile ordering switched off...
Read moreMy wife went in to get some quick tacos on our way home yesterday. She was surprised to see a kiosk, but she used it to place our order and stood there and waited, and waited, and waited. Finally a young girl came to the counter and asked if she could help her and my wife said "Yes, I'd like to pay cash for my order." The woman said "okay, I'll be right back." Surprisingly, the young girl never returned. So my wife stood there again and waited, and waited, and waited. Another young girl came to the counter and asked her "Can I help you?" and my wife repeated the same answer "Yes, I like to pay cash for my meal." And she added "I already told a young girl and she said she'd be right back, but she never returned." So this young girl finally took her money, handed her a receipt and then my wife stood back with her receipt waiting and watching as she noted someone in the back making tacos for a box. They made 12 tacos and put them in a box and a young man brought them up to the counter, called out a number and my wife went up to the counter and asked "Are those hard tacos?" The young man replied "Yes!" My wife politely told him that she had ordered soft tacos and handed him the receipt. He took the the receipt, looked at it, dropped the receipt on the counter and took the order into the back. At this point my wife had to wait yet again. Finally they came out with a box of soft tacos, as ordered, but at no time did anyone offer an apology. The entire ordeal took about 30 minutes, which is, in my opinion, 20 minutes longer than it should have taken. We had to wonder why management cannot train their staff properly on how to take orders, take payment, fill orders and interact with customers. We'll never order from this...
Read moreThis is the worst Taco Bell I have ever been to. If I could give them a zero, I would. Customer service is awful and rude. We placed an order for our business in the morning online and paid for it in full. When you place the order online, it asks you what time you plan on picking it up at. I put on there 11:15 am that I would pick up promptly. They charged my Visa and everything went through fine. When I came to pick the food up at 11:15 I was told that they only had three people working there and they would not have it ready for at least a half an hour. My reply said that I was picking up at 11:15 and ordered hours ago. They said well when you place an order online that’s large you should’ve followed up with a phone call to make sure we could do the order. What? Is it the purpose of online ordering to make it easy for both parties involved? You get the notification and the time for pick up and I’ve paid in full. If there’s a problem with that contract, then Taco Bell should’ve called and said sorry we cannot fulfill your order at the time you requested. Giving me the option to go somewhere else or agree to a different time. The woman that spoke to me through the drive-through was completely rude. I understand being short hand, but don’t try to pawn off your responsibilities to me. I did exactly what the website said to do and assumed there would be...
