This is a nice looking place. I found it on Google and decided to visit and watch the remaining football games early Sunday evening. I sat down in the middle of the bar, so I could get a good view of the tv screens on both sides. I sat and waited to be greeted and for a bartender to appear behind the bar. Another individual sat down after me near the left of the bar, shortly after the bartender appeared. I observed that individual get greeted and served a drink. As I waited to get greeted, the bartender walked past me, grabbed a ladder and proceeded to go retrieve a bottle of Bombay Sapphire (my favorite gin) on the rack above the glasses. I assumed that the person she greeted must have ordered gin, maybe gin and tonic. However, that bottle was placed on the far end of the bar. I then observed the bartender begin to remove the empty glasses from another customer who was leaving right as I arrived. Being someone who’s worked in many restaurants and bars, I know this be outside the standard practice. A simple greeting of, “I’ll be right with you”, would have went a long way. After being walked by 4 times without being addressed, I proceeded to grab my phone and quietly exit this establishment.
I am assuming this is not their standard practice, but just my experience. Unfortunately, an experience I’ve encountered many times at many different establishments. So I do expect it to happen every so often (hence the 3 stars).
I’m hopeful in the future that this is something others don’t encounter and that management is made aware of this review so the proper guidance can be...
Read moreWe were really looking forward to our night out, arranging a babysitter and chose this bar hoping for a great experience. While the atmosphere was nice and the drinks were actually well-made, what we witnessed completely ruined the mood for us.
To our shock, multiple bartenders and servers were openly straw-testing our drinks, and some even more than once (double dipping). We were sitting just behind the bar and could clearly see everything. It wasn’t subtle. Seeing several different people trying our drinks before they were brought to our table was honestly disappointing and, frankly, unsanitary.
When I politely brought this up to our server, saying that I need a new drinks or refill, the response was that it was “just a tiny little bit.” But that completely misses the point. It’s about hygiene, professionalism, and respect for your guests.
We didn’t want to let it ruin our night, but it left us feeling uncomfortable and a bit grossed out. I hope management takes this seriously and trains staff to test drinks more discreetly and hygienically. And not with all the...
Read moreI went there on opening day and enjoyed the staff and the service. The crowd was great, and everyone was happy to have this place in the area. Like any new place it started slow but has really improved. The staff is always saying hello and the Mgt Team is on top of everything. One thing I have notice is that the Bar staff is still there. To me that is a good sign that everyone gets along and is happy. The food is great we have had the pizza, chicken wings, burger, and almost everything else. They have happy hour every day except Saturday and even on Sunday for sports events. The Goat Cheese is great and your given more than enough bread. As for their drinks don’t worry. The Bartenders will make you whatever you want. If they do not know how to make it they will look it up and get it done. We usually are there in the afternoons to strat the night off. All are welcome. Drop by It is a great group of People and fun to talk to. Oh, did I tell you they have...
