I went to this subway today to get a meatball marinara. When I came up to the Hispanic lady I asked for one. She then proceeded to make the sandwich, but then she asked if I wanted it toasted. I then asked her could u add the marinara sauce. And she was confused so I proceeded to show her a picture of what i wanted on the subway app. She grabbed my phone and started to scroll down to the ingredients shown on the app. Then she told me she would add the sauce after she toasted it and I said ok cool. After she took out the sandwich she asked if I wanted anything else and I said the marinara sauce to. She said oh yea but do you want anything else and I said lettuce. When she added the lettuce she closed my sandwich and tried to wrap it up. But before I said “u didn’t add my marinara sauce”. Then she proceeded to look confused then I said again the red sauce then she told me “Yeah we dont have any”. Like I ask multiple time if u could add it then she says yes but then whenever it’s all and done she tells me she doesn’t have anything. Then after I ate that dry sandwich. I ask someone to go in there after I left to see if there was marinara sauce cause another person was doing the sandwiches and he proceeded to say yes. Read moreI’m being generous with the stars here. This is my second visit to this Subway, and unfortunately, it seems like the employees haven’t received adequate training. I understand that Subway doesn’t aim to be as fast-paced as McDonald's or Chick-fil-A (in the same parking lot), but the time it takes to make a single sandwich is just WAY too long. The employees seem to lack a sense of urgency and don’t appear to notice the growing line of customers. If the customer service was more in line with Chick-fil-A's, I’d be more patient—but the slow pace is really frustrating.
The staff could benefit from retraining, specifically on sandwich ingredients, register operations, and handling multiple customers efficiently. It’s not fair to either the staff or the customers when only one or two employees are working without the...
