After many years of being in the specialty coffee industry it's always nice going back and visiting the latest shops.

I will preface that the staff here are all sweethearts and their service is impeccable. The atmosphere is cozy with some interesting design choices some better than others.

But my qualm is with the coffee. The espresso was bitter. Very minor hints of notes attempted to shine through but were muddled with ashy, and burnt flavor notes. There's a lack of variety as well, you would think a place referring to themselves as "craft coffee" would have more than just a house blend on espresso.

For the people of the suburbs this is exemplary, but for those that have been around, they’ll know.

Why be enough when you can be great.

My suggestions? At least one other option for your espresso Take your time to properly train your baristas, you're doing them a disservice and they’re the ones that have to bear with your customers. This includes proper steaming, dialing in regularly, etc.

Just a former barista sharing their thoughts though. Do what you will at the end of the day it’s...

The food was pretty good and I loved the coffee, but the customer service was not great at all. I did not see a sense of responsibility from the employees. I ordered food and waited in the shop as well, after waiting about 15 minutes I asked the cashier and he was confused and didn’t even know what I was talking about and he asked the guy in the back and he was like ā€œI am about to clock out, no sandwiches at this timeā€????And I am being told this after waiting and paying for the food. At this point I was just over it and asked for the refund and decided to leave. And now everyone is trying to get me the refund and this guy comes over with the sandwich ā€œwhose sandwich is this, it has been ready?ā€ I am like that what I was asking for. How am I supposed to know if it has been ready or not? Almost all of the employees just standing there talking and nobody even bothered to let me know that the food was ready! My first time at the shop and heard so many good things about this place’s coffee, but I was not looking forward to get...

The selection of coffee brews is fantastic (Chemex, aeropress, pour-over, and even Siphon). The prices seem a bit exorbitant, maybe because of the proximity to Bridgeland. They don't even do refills on regular drip coffee. The menu is clear about their beverages and food choices which is helpful for those who have never had craft coffee. I ordered the Red-Eye (coffee Americano) and my wife enjoyed her matcha. Overall the beverages were delightful. 9/10 The atmosphere isn't great. The chairs are uncomfortable and wooden. The space is very loud as well. Conversations carry and a few people is enough to fill the room with noise. The set-up is minimalist which is nice for focusing on work. 5/10 The service was mediocre as well. We weren't greeted when we came in. We weren't engaged while we ordered or waited and there were few people here. I'm going to include the lack of refills in this section because that seems like a basic courtesy for coffee providers. 4/10 I will likely come back. This place has a lot...

Craft coffee is a nice departure from the typical cookie cutter style "coffee shops" in the area. The Cypress area does not have many actual coffee shops, so this is a relief. I stopped by Craft Coffee after some physical therapy after they (PT) recommended it as a nice local shop. The atmosphere is nice and it is obvious that the locals enjoy the coffee; the shop was full. There are plenty of espresso options and offered several dairy alternatives which is always a plus. The staff were courteous and friendly. The prices were slightly higher than the aforementioned cookie cutter shops, but the options were presented much nicer. I decided to enjoy my americano in house and was not disappointed in my stay. It was very relaxing. The customers seemed upscale which is also a plus and they can often throw off the experience. There were plenty of pastry and food items available, if you are interested. Overall, I enjoyed my brew and will likely stop by again if I'm caught at physical therapy without my coffee fix.

Back in Houston again, while my wife visits her employers head office in Waller, TX. Google found another coffee shop for me to visit and it is a good choice. The barista made me a very nice hot Caramel Latte with Soy Milk served in a pottery cup and saucer. The environmentalist in me cheered (quietly) and I drank it sitting in a comfortable chair by the window. There are plenty of tables and chairs to sit and work, the decor is pleasant and the staff are smiling. It’s a nice place to sit and drink coffee. My 16oz latte was just over $7 before that ubiquitous, and much maligned, twist of the cash register screen where I am asked to rate the service and provide a tip, all before I’ve had chance to taste the coffee, sit in the chairs, or appreciate the service.

First time trying L3 Craft Coffee our cashier Jewels was very nice & informational on the drink choices, healthy add in for the coffee’s available oat milk & three to four sugar free options are provided we got there Latte hot with OatMilk with white chocolate flavoring. Pretty good coffee atmosphere was very inviting looks and feels like a good place to have work meetings if they are face to face even enjoyed the music selection we will have to come back and try there food options once there cooking sources are back up and ready to go. Definitely would like to try more coffees we will be back. If you out in the area stop and check them out . Advertising for a grand opening coming soon, so they must be fairly new to the area
