Extremely Disappointing Experience at Cracker Barrel

I recently had the unfortunate experience of ordering from Cracker Barrel, and I must say that it was a complete disappointment. From consistently missing items in orders to the frustrating difficulty of getting hold of a manager, this restaurant has left me with a sour taste in my mouth.

One of the most frustrating aspects of my experience was the repeated occurrence of missing items in my orders. It seemed like no matter how many times I gave them the benefit of the doubt, they simply couldn't get it right. It's unacceptable for a restaurant to consistently fail in fulfilling their customers' orders accurately.

Adding to my frustration was the arduous task of trying to speak with a manager. It felt like an impossible feat to get in touch with someone in charge. Whether it was being put on hold for an eternity or repeatedly getting hung up on by employees, it was clear that customer service was not a priority for Cracker Barrel.

However, amidst this disappointing experience, there was one shining light – a manager named Shyanne She was the only person who displayed kindness and empathy throughout my interactions with the store. Her exceptional service stood out in stark contrast to the overall lack of care exhibited by the rest of the staff.

Unfortunately, I must caution others against ordering from Cracker Barrel through DoorDash Despite giving them numerous opportunities to improve, they have consistently failed to meet even the basic expectations of a restaurant. The recurring issue of missing items, the difficulty in reaching a manager, and the unhelpful behavior of some employees make it clear that this establishment is not worth your time or money.

Just had to get on here and give credit where it is due. My hubby and I worked here when this store first opened. It was equipped with great managers and support staff. We were very well trained and invested in. We count the training we received here in those eaely years as part of what has helped us open and run our own restaurant. This place was a tightly run ship and we enjoyed coming here as guests well after we left working here. But as the years went by things changed and quality and service suffered. We stopped going except for the very, very occasional visit. The well run family oriented feel that emphasized quality gave way to disgruntled employees who made you feel unwelcome, unkempt and no pride in appearance or a job well done. And the food came out often cold, burnt, undercooked and all manner of poor quality. This place became little more than people just going through the motions. No one seemed to care anymore. It was a sad thing to watch happen given how high the standards were when we once worked here. We more or less gave up on this place ever improving. But I'm thankful today that we decided to give it another chance and are so happy to see the good changes that have taken place. We have been back several times in the last few months and are stunned by how far they have come! Managers that care and hustle alongside their staff. People smiling at you no matter when you walk in. And smiling and getting along with each other actually enjoying their work. There is apparent pride in appearance and the quality of service and food is reminiscent of the good old days when things were at their best! During our journey to Fort Myers, my husband and I made a delightful stop at Cracker Barrel, and it turned out to be a highlight of our trip. Known for its comforting Southern cuisine and charming country store, Cracker Barrel offered us a memorable dining experience.

I opted for the homemade chicken tenders with honey hot sauce, accompanied by a fresh salad and a delightful marshmallow-filled sweet potato. Each bite of the chicken tenders was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, perfectly complemented by the sweet and spicy honey hot sauce. The sweet potato, with its marshmallow filling, added a deliciously indulgent touch to the meal.

My husband enjoyed the fried shrimp, paired with a crisp salad and classic fries. The shrimp were perfectly cooked and seasoned, satisfying his craving for seafood during our journey.

As we explored, we were delighted by the variety of quirky items on display - from ladybug-themed decor to flamingo figurines, and patriotic and Halloween-themed decorations.
