I would rate this place 10 out of 5! Because Coffee will blow you away, it is a hidden gem. If you are in the Dawsonville area, skip the Starbucks and come enjoy an incredible cup of coffee, they make a delightfully tasteful pour over! When you walk in the doors you will experience a breath of fresh air with the sweetest and most intentional service and conversation, amazing coffee, delightful treats, and a relaxing and quiet spot! This is purely a place to pursue hygge. We love this place, which is why I want to brag on them..
Doug, the owner, is AWESOME! I want to brag on him for a second.. My husband LOVES their pour over coffee, and I called Doug with a crazy idea to surprise my husband for an early Valentine's Day gift. He was all for it, without question. He made it happen, with a pour over coffee and sweet treat, and even a sweet card! I am blown away. I think this speaks very highly of Doug, his intentionality with every customer, the business and its support of their community and making an impact on the people! This is why you support local. This is why you should take a moment of your day to stop in and see Doug and his team, enjoy some coffee, I promise you...
Read moreChecked out this local business for the first time today due to many positive online reviews...and of course, the need for coffee! Located on the far left corner of the shopping center just behind O'Reilly's, you could drive right by it for years without knowing it was there, like I did.
They pretty much just sell coffee (along with some muffins) BUT they specialize in it. There's a unique and wide variety of types, styles, flavors, and milk additions/alternatives to choose from. I chose a 12oz coldbrew with blackberry syrup and a lemon blueberry muffin for a snack. Enjoyed both very much, thanks to the patient guy behind the counter helping me make these selection. Very reasonable prices too!
Seating consists of different types of tables and comfortable couches to choose from, including outdoor seating. Most spots were occupied when I was there so I recommend getting there early especially if you plan to meet more than one person. The clientele seemed to be a mix of business executives and laptop nerds, typical of most coffee joints. But if you love coffee, want a space for computer work, and support local business, give this...
Read moreI've sat in Because Coffee dozens of times at this point, sometimes for hours, to drink coffee and do a variety of others things—meet for chats, bible studies, or research and writing for school. They have amazing coffee, kind people who clearly have great camaraderie among themselves and with their customers, and a kind atmosphere that does not feel demanding. On the coffee, they roast their own beans, and you can smell it (smells amazing) while sipping your own coffee. Because they are regularly roasting their own beans, you can absolutely tell in the taste of the coffee. I usually get an Oatmilk Latte with no flavoring in it, just so I can enjoy the espresso's flavor. My all-time favorite is the Cortado, served in a small 8oz glass (real glass!). But, they also have creative seasonal flavoring combos that are amazing flavors that make it fun to get a flavor of the season latte as well. The staff are always incredibly kind, whether I'm ordering, asking questions about a product, or just checking in. So, I never feel pressure like I'm hanging around too long or need to move along. It's a great coffee shop and a great...
