I just left foothill grill and the lady that took my order was rude. My 2 bosses eats there alot for lunch and after 15 min of calling to place there order I drove there to place it and wait. They love the food there. Today the chicken liver had to much batter and the chicken on the taco salad was salty and there large drink is small. I asked if that was a large and the lady asked the redhead woman what I say and she said I asked if it was a large and made a snide comment. The redhead was nice. She helped me after the long brown lady left the register. I have heard good things about this place and the experience I went through isn't customer service friendly at all. I am in customer service myself and will never treat my customers that way or allow my team to. Also I run a food business and it's mandatory to have hats and hairnets. Not sure why they don't make that a rule there. So ty to the nice lady and someone needs to train the other. I wish I had her name. I was so upset. Update today 1 3 25 someone came to my work place and made the visit right. Thank you for understanding and getting to the bottom of it.

The food was so good and the staff was super friendly!!! This was our first time ever going to this establishment, and let me tell you....I was very pleased!!! The outside is very rustic looking, and it seems to be the hot spot for breakfast on Saturdays. Inside feels like an old diner meets mountain cabins. Wood everywhere but the staff were friendly and helpful. You walk in to the smell of fresh homemade cinnamon rolls sitting on the counter to cool, with icing slowly oozing down the sides....and if that doesn't get your tummy rumbling then the fresh biscuits and sausage will. I had the shrimp and grits and let me tell you....they were the best I've ever had! Grits so mouth watering it will make you second guess your moms!mom's!! The locals there are also friendly and like to come dine and chat with you. This is a very nice place to bring the family for Saturday breakfast and to see some of the sites in Dahlonega! We will be back again soon ourselves!!

Found Foothill when researching the food options prior to our trip, this was on our list as a breakfast option one day. Let me say they did not disappoint. Do yourself a favor and make sure to stop in for breakfast; they do have lunch and such as well. The cinnamon roll was hands down the best I’ve had to date and I’ve had some dang good ones. The Tony’s breakfast sandwich put any other breakfast sandwich around to shame, as the kids say - on God! 😎 Cornbeef hash platter was ridiculous. Biscuit and gravy, solid 8.6. The biscuit was fluffy and hearty. 10/10 recommend. The service was top notch! We were greeted right way, someone to the table quickly, helped with suggestions and questions, friendly conversation. Great experience all the way around.

I have drove past this place so many times in the parking lot is always full this morning I realized why. There is virtually very few parking spaces made even worse by superlong trucks. I finally made it inside and ordered a biscuit and gravy thinking it couldn't be that bad. Perhaps I should have tried something different I always figure biscuits and gravy is a safe bet since it was one of their highlights according to the reviews that I've read I must say I'm not trying to pick but I was extremely disappointed. But I guess for it to be a college town I guess to a college kid that's not really experienced good cooking and is probably been brought up with cold cereal. The biscuit was something that you would get out of a Pillsbury can of biscuits not even the Grand biscuits and definitely not homemade. The gravy was very similar to Libby's canned gravy but yet watered down it was not even as good as Morrisons package gravy that you can buy. And it was definitely not homemade tasting I feel like I would have been better off bringing a boiled egg with me on the way up to mount yonah to me to me this meal was so bad I ended up having to stop my Dairy Queen and getting two sausage biscuits in order to wash down the bad taste in my mouth I'm not even making that up either. I'm not even trying to dog the restaurant it may be a good restaurant maybe I ordered the wrong thing but I have to be honest I was...

Ate here for first time today. We had blackened shrimp, fried okra, collard greens, coleslaw, mashed potatoes, hush puppies and fresh brewed ice tea. All fresh and delicious with large portions. Love their house made cocktail sauce has a kick with horseradish, the best! Food not over salted or heavy on the blackening. Friendly sweet staff that were on-it, great job. They know what they are doing! Good ole locals place but all are welcome for sure! Parking is tight but worth it to eat there. Quick service. Place was full 12:30 and everyone looked like they were enjoying the experience. No waiting for us, we just ate at the counter and watched the well orchestrated staff do their thing. Plates were empty no leftovers it's that good! They get their seafood from the Gulf twice a week. Great experience, will be back often! Maybe tomorrow. If you are in town, you will not be disappointed, eat here!!! :)

Returned the next day., Sunday at lunch, 12:00. Not as crowded as yesterday but they were busy. There was a line waiting when we left about 12:45. We had the Reuben, country fried steak and cinnamon roll. They will warm the roll on request. I like warm cinnamon rolls. All delicious, same great service. They are...

This was my second time here. The first time was great and the Reuben was delicious. But today was totally different. I was pretty disappointed. They were out of a lot of items. The one waitress in the white was working hard. But the one in black was more interested in talking with the girl in the kitchen. While jug a of just sat on the bar for quite sometime. I also observe a couple come in and sat at a dirt table. While the girl with the black shirt and tattoo talk with her friends. She walked past the couple with the dirt table a few time. I thought they were about to walk out. The bar was fill with dirty dish. Then a guy cam out of the back with a plate of food and sat at the bar next to a customer. She a lie of silverware piled in front of her that need to be role. Plus there are few expletive in the back that could came and helped clean up the dining room. Im not sure where the manger or owner was. Being the restaurant business I would have been ashamed if this was my place. It could have been an off day and short staffed. The team should jumped in and got the place in order. Ill will try the place one more time. Think the owner should now...
