El Pollo Rico — Restaurant in Dale City

I was craving some Peruvian chicken. We found this place near our new home. We walk in excited ready to make this our go to place. We stand in front of the cashier looking to order. No words no eye contact nothing. Then we see the person who just came through the door and they immediately start taking her order. Finally the guy says if you need to order go behind her! What the heck?! Why didn’t he tell me that. So I go annoyed but I didn’t say anything and waited where you are supposed to order and what happens they stare at me weird and decide to not acknowledge me. What’s going on here I don’t deserve this I have not started off bad or did anything wrong for such rude treatment. So I took my daughter else where where they actually want my money. Needless to say I didn’t even taste their food because they don’t care about customers here or have any clue about...

Fantastic chicken, the flavor is something unique that I have never had. Also the fried yuca are delicious. Mix the green sauce (essentially puree'd jalepenos) and the white sauce (some kind of flavored mayonaise) and you have a perfect dip for your fries or yuca, because the chicken doesn't need it.

I am from Texas and I consider myself an expert on grilled, smoked and rotisserie meats. I make the best chicken I have ever had by marinating it then smoking it over mesquite for about 12 hours.... no more, El Pollo Rico has me beat.

This location was fast and clean; it had none of the epic lines I have heard about at the Arlington location. To the person about credit cards: it's not that unusual for small family owned businesses, however I don't seem to remember them not taking credit cards... I think I will drive the 50 miles for lunch and investigate this for...

First time at El Pollo Rico today 4/25/2021. I never eat at restaurant except for special events. And this place is UNIQUELY clean, fast wit QUALITY (NOT fast foods type) AND very welcoming (con la gente bonita). Yes, beautiful people and good foods. I ordered. half chicken with cassava and a friend of mine had the same with fries. Seasoning was EXCELLENT. salt perfect healthy level. Friday, I was at chick fillet and ordered. Kid menu (8 count nuggets and wafel fries so salty and you wonder how kids grow up from tastless health feeding to end up with excessive salt habits in "kid" menu UNNECESSARY salty like aldults?!!! AND all health issues. Go to El Pollo Rico, it's clean, healthier. Salty wise and not heavy or greasy PROVIDING yo care for good foods eating with moderation...
