Fair Price — Local services in Dale City

I have been going this store for at least a year and unfortunately every time I go I end up seeing expired cheese, pastries and so. In the beginning I told the guy that they should inspect the store and get rid of them. A few times I was in hurry while shopping so I realized I buy expired items when I arrive home. They refund me and I warned them again. I still experience the same thing. I bought a packed meat tonight while in rush and left the store.While eating my dinner in hurry I realized weird taste and directly go back to my fridge and checked the package. Guess what? There’s wasn’t even an expiration date label. Just a few days ago when I went I saw so many expired items while shopping but I had no chance to buy from there because they carry the products from my country. Tomorrow first thing I’ll do is to go to store and let them I will go to better business bureau and complain about it. That’s it! No more excuses. I hope the amount I ate won’t make me sick. I found out there’s also another store around the area. Do not buy things from there and feed your kids with the food...

Let me start by saying that I was a frequent visitor here until this. This place is a disaster, especially when it comes to the meat section. The folks who work there are simply insane. Please watch out what they charge you, because they will charge a couple dollars extra per pound when you are not looking. When confronted with why the charge was different that what was listed on the board near the freezer door, their response was "Brother, take it or leave it". I have noticed multiple times that the meat handling staff dont have their gloves on. This is insane considering these are COVID19 times. They have complete disregard for health of people. Makes me wonder if the stomach problems I had right after eating meat from here was because of this. I will be filing a formal complaint with the local health and safety regarding this utter disregard for customer health and misleading pricing practices. I guess it wont matter to the owner as he has employees who respond to misleading pricing is - "Brother, take it...

Beware: Check Your Meat Quality Before Buying!

I want to share my recent experience at Fair Price Grocery. Yesterday evening, I purchased lamb meat and beef liver from this store. After bringing them home, I placed lamb in the freezer and liver in fridge, However, when I opened the packets to cook today, both the lamb and liver were discolored and smelled rotten. I had no choice but to discard them.

This isn’t the first time I’ve had issues with their meat. About a month ago, I bought beef, chicken, and lamb from this store, and while the quality wasn’t great, it was at least usable. Unfortunately, this time the quality was much worse.

Usually, I shop at Kabul Halal Store for meat, but when they run out of lamb, I reluctantly visit Fair Price Grocery. After this experience, I’ve decided I won’t waste my hard-earned money there anymore.
