Overall a decent meal and dining experience. The atmosphere was similar to that of an outdoor café with large open garage door-type, windows. The ambience was casual. The wait staff was gregarious and helpful when asked for recommendations and / or suggestions. The menu was varied from steaks, seafood, to Italian fare. There were also vegetarian options, sandwiches, as well as soups…. My daughter and I had dinner and we both ordered one of the featured meals—the filet mignon with Asian spice dusting. Our starch side was the wasabi mashed potatoes (quite heavy on the wasabi—that said, they were delicious) with the vegetable du jour steamed Bok Choy (it was a bit under seasoned and overcooked ). We both also ordered the roasted beet salad—personally, I would’ve substituted red beets for the yellow beets for a more varied color. Otherwise, the colors of the salad were predominantly yellow+green—orange slices and yellow beet wedges accompanied by the Arugula, Candied Walnuts, Fennel Slaw, Greens. The balsamic vinaigrette was outstanding! We each ordered the fillet medium rare and it arrived at the appropriate temperature. I did, however, request to have the fillet bacon-wrapped, but I suppose the Chef did not feel capable of preparing it bacon-wrapped … Now I also requested a béarnaise-type dipping sauce for the fillet….and while I was assured not only once, but twice that it would arrive…it never did. Similarly when I asked for more bread—they only gave us four tiny pieces of what appeared to be sourdough bread—while they exclaimed “sure thing!” the additional bread never arrived…🤔 The table water decanter was a nice touch, but once emptied halfway through the meal it was never refilled. That was frustrating especially when that’s the only thing you’re having to drink with your meal. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Lemon slices were provided upon requested… The desserts were delicious. I ordered the peanut butter chocolate pie, and my daughter ordered the caramel cheesecake. Both absolutely divine… overall I would certainly recommend this restaurant as an adequate dining experience and would probably...

I very rarely write bad reviews on restaurants. I understand that sometimes there are off nights either on the service or food end. Sometimes they are just extremely busy. However, the experience my husband and I had tonight at Prime left me wanting to comment. We stopped by to get a gift card and have dinner. We have dined there before. We did not have a reservation. When we walked in there was a couple ahead of us. The reception area is very tight. We waited for someone to greet us, and waited, and waited. We watched bartenders and servers walk back and forth. No one acknowledged us. No one said we'll be right with you. There were plenty of open seats at the bar and open tables available. We waited at least ten minutes with no one saying anything to us. Another couple came in after us and walked ahead. A server came by to seat the first couple but said nothing to us. A little while later a server with long black hair, who passed us numerous times went up to the couple that came in after us and asked if they would like to be seated. At that point we felt they do not need our business...

The Brunch bunch visited here on a Saturday morning at 11:00 a.m. We had reservations, but it didn't seem we really needed them, as it wasn't too busy, but they did have a pretty good crowd. Two of us ordered the sangria and another ordered an Island Breeze to drink. The sangria was delicious, but pricey at $14 a glass. I ordered The Elvis, which the menu describes as: "Whipped Nutella, Crunchy Peanut Butter, Caramelized Bananas, Center Cut Bacon, and our House Strawberry Jam. Topped with Powdered Sugar and Banana Pecan Crunch crepe."

When it arrived, It didn't have caramelized bananas, bacon, strawberry jam or powdered sugar. (See the pic). The filling was just Nutella and peanut butter and it was topped with dehydrated banana chips. It was very underwhelming. To be honest, I didn't even realize right away that it was missing anything. I was too busy catching up with my friends. I didn't even notice until now, when I looked up the description on the menu! WTH Prime?

Service was pretty good, and the...

Nice restaurant. It's a little bit of a ride from our neighborhood but a nice change for us and the food makes it worth the drive. Service is always pleasant. Drinks are good. I've never had a bad meal here. I especially like the Scallops in brown sauce with mushrooms. I keep forgetting to take a picture. This visit I had them as an appetizer. The sauce is so good you just want to "mop it up" with bread. Switched dinner up this time to Veal Scampi with Penne which was very good. The Beet Salad (bad picture as I had started to eat it already) can be ordered as a side for an upcharge and I highly recommend it. That was generous and delicious. This is not an inexpensive restaurant, especially in our area, but if you wish something beyond chain food, I endorse dining here. Note to the restaurant: a bread serving of half of a dinner roll (sliced to look like bread) for 2 people really is pretty ridiculous. We actually LOL when we opened the napkin. Our service was very nice and as it was a slow night, we were not rushed in any way.
