I visited the restaurant with high hopes of enjoying the delicious food showcased in the Google review photos. However, my experience was marred by some concerning observations upon arrival. The parking situation was limited, and while there was a sign directing customers to park in the back, what I found there was quite unsettling.
I was greeted by piles of old, torn bags stacked about 4 feet high against the building, giving the impression that they had been neglected and needed to be disposed of. Additionally, the grass in that area was overgrown, reaching a similar height. To make matters worse, I noticed several 55-gallon metal tanks with toxic hazmat stickers, which raised serious safety concerns.
If you’re asking customers to park in the back, it’s essential to maintain a clean and welcoming environment. First impressions matter, and I couldn’t help but wonder how well the kitchen is maintained if the exterior is in such disarray.

Read moreI really liked their food. I got the Gorditas meal. Now, you have to like traditional Mexican food to eat here. This isn't TexMex, which I love too. The food isn't over-flavored. Some who's taste buds are over stimulated all the time, probably won't like it because they will think it's bland. I am giving them 5 stars because their kindness and hospitality made up for the dark and dusty dining area. I would normally give them 4 stars because of that, but I think they made up for it with the food and service I got. I don't know that I would have a sit down meal here. Maybe they will change that, and then you will have a true diamond of a...

Though this small cozy mom & pop restaurant is somewhat set in a niche between other businesses, one may drive past it and not know it. Remember it's across from Ojeda's on Maple Av., just squint your eye's to notice and drive 15 mph 😀. Oh !, i almost forgot that i ordered several breakfast tacos ( mix eggs and potatoes ) for my neighbors once and they loved them but they did warn me that the breakfast tacos had a real tasting HOT KICK to them and now it's a Sunday morning...
