I really liked their food. I got the Gorditas meal. Now, you have to like traditional Mexican food to eat here. This isn't TexMex, which I love too. The food isn't over-flavored. Some who's taste buds are over stimulated all the time, probably won't like it because they will think it's bland. I am giving them 5 stars because their kindness and hospitality made up for the dark and dusty dining area. I would normally give them 4 stars because of that, but I think they made up for it with the food and service I got. I don't know that I would have a sit down meal here. Maybe they will change that, and then you will have a true diamond of a restaurant Dallas.

This is a really good Mexican spot with delicious tacos. The chorizo taco was so good! I also liked the Al pastor taco. Incredible pineapple agua fresca drink: the fresh pineapple taste really comes out and you don’t taste a ton of sugar. It’s light and refreshing, seriously. Refried beans were good too. The barbacoa taco wasn’t good, but it’s hard to find good barbacoa tacos, so it’s fine. Solid spot for tacos (that’s all I ordered for this first visit). I would definitely come back again!

We decided to go to this restaurant because of a TikTok I saw of the owners’ daughters promoting their parents business. It did not disappoint! The food here is delicious! My husband and I had the barbacoa and consomé and my daughter had a fajita torta. We will definitely be going back. The only thing my husband wished they had was beer and music 🤭 The food made up for it though! It was delicious!

I visited the restaurant with high hopes of enjoying the delicious food showcased in the Google review photos. However, my experience was marred by some concerning observations upon arrival. The parking situation was limited, and while there was a sign directing customers to park in the back, what I found there was quite unsettling.

I was greeted by piles of old, torn bags stacked about 4 feet high against the building, giving the impression that they had been neglected and needed to be disposed of. Additionally, the grass in that area was overgrown, reaching a similar height. To make matters worse, I noticed several 55-gallon metal tanks with toxic hazmat stickers, which raised serious safety concerns.

If you’re asking customers to park in the back, it’s essential to maintain a clean and welcoming environment. First impressions matter, and I couldn’t help but wonder how well the kitchen is maintained if the exterior is in such disarray.

Regrettably, I chose to go across the street to dine instead. I’m disappointed by this experience and hope the restaurant can improve its upkeep for the sake of...

Great tasting Menudo ( spicy ) the only thing missing in the mix is hominy. The Pozole, is another spicy dish my mother enjoyed. Though this small cozy mom & pop restaurant is somewhat set in a niche between other businesses, one may drive past it and not know it. Remember it's across from Ojeda's on Maple Av., just squint your eye's to notice and drive 15 mph 😀. Oh !, i almost forgot that i ordered several breakfast tacos ( mix eggs and potatoes ) for my neighbors once and they loved them but they did warn me that the breakfast tacos had a real tasting HOT KICK to them and now it's a Sunday morning...
