CRÚ Food & Wine Bar — Restaurant in Dallas

Great food and usually great service. Crystal the acting manager May 03, 2018 was not of great service. There was a wait for seating so I ordered to go at the bar. There was a bar stool seat open as I ordered so I sat down there. The gentleman at the table across from was just finishing his food and ask if i would like to sit at his table. Just as i moved my bags Crystal rushes over the advise they are busy and there is a line. I was ok until Crystal seated one female at the same table she advised I could not be seated. I drank the rest of my wine ordered a cheese tray and the bartender invited me to sit at the bar where another person had just left. So my question to Crystal was why couldn't I just have sat at the table to begin with. Food...

This week, I was on my way out of town and arrived early for my flight at Dallas Love Field. Upstairs on your right after passing through security is a great place to stop if you've got an hour to eat and have a nice glass of wine. The CRU Food & Wine Bar is a great choice.

The selection of wines is terrific. I tried a favorite of Dave, who waited on me, and it paired well with the panini I had. Where some places you have to wedge yourself in to get a seat, CRU was busy but not so crowded it was uncomfortable. There were four of us traveling together, and we split a bottle of wine with our meal.

The server mixed up my credit card with another credit card. Neither the other person nor I noticed and used each other's cards all weekend. He finally figured it out and had to find me via Facebook. So despite the fact that it was a real hassle to straighten out all of the charges, I could have forgiven the mix up until I called the manager to get my credit card (which the other person returned to the restaurant) and he informed me that I would have to deal with airport lost and found and that I would have to pay a shipping fee to get my credit card back (have several auto pays set up so I didn't want to cancel it).
