07/14/24: An excellent lunch catered, thank you Team Eggs Up Grill! We dared to have a breakfast place for lunch and our team is raving about the "Egg-cellant" sandwiches. Our team enjoyed Double Cheeseburgers, Chicken BBQ Melts, and my favorite... Turkey Avocado BLT's! All were huge, tasty, and filling. Best of all, it was carefully delivered by GM Antonio Ortiz! Thank you again and double thank you for being a Metrocrest Chamber of Commerce member.

On a corner that's pretty busy, look to the side that's got the Lifetime Fitness. Just East, on the corner you'll see a beautiful new restaurant. For breakfast place, it's bright cheerful and open. I love the colors! If you're meeting a group from 15 to 30 , there's a room that has sliding doors to accommodate. My personal favorite, when everyone walks through the door, the wait staff gives a hearty "good morning welcome". *I ordered the turkey with avocado and home fries. First off, the sandwich was colossal. It had the best tasting swiss cheese I've ever had! Overall , a super delicious sandwich. The home fries with sauteed onion, pepper and cheese was excellent. I've never had them like this , but I will order again! If you're looking for a gourmet meal, a good sized meal at a price that most people can afford, this place is it!!! I'm so glad they're in the neighborhood! Come see the General Manager Antonio Ortiz.

Read moreMy husband and I went yesterday morning for a breakfast date (2/5/24). Eggs Up Grill is cute, clean, and inviting. The waitstaff are cheery, and we were warmly greeted, seated, and given excellent service. However, we were really disappointed with our food. My husband ordered the Texas Farmhouse omelet. The omelet comes topped with green chiles, but according to him, they had a distinct canned taste. They also weren't as warm as the rest of the omelet, so my husband suspects that the chiles were scooped from the can just before being served. I ordered Three Little Deuces (bacon, eggs, pancakes) with gluten-free pancakes. The eggs and bacon were okay tasting, but the pancakes were awful. I'm not sure if there was an issue with the mix, but the pancakes tasted like dirt/very earthy. Even with copious amounts of butter and syrup, they were not palatable. I did not finish them, and wound up leaving hungry. On a positive note, I was really excited about their juice servings! For $5+, most breakfast places give you a few gulps of juice that are usually gone before your food even arrives. I ordered a large orange/cranberry juice and received a huge cup filled to the brim!
There aren't many places in the area that offer gluten-free breakfast choices. If they can work out the kinks with the gluten-free pancakes, I'd like to come back for a second...

Update: They said they have a new management now, and i should come back and talk to them, so I'll give it another chance and go back.
I was there with a friend a couple of weeks ago for breakfast. It was our first time there. We waited 25 minutes after we sat in the table, and it was not so packed. But that's ok.
We ordered vanilla lattes, and i asked no foam and / or whipped cream on it, as some places do that like Starbucks.
The guy came back 20 min later, and i said i asked no foam on it. He got angry at me saying that's what it is, and maybe you wanted a regular coffee. I said no i want the latte," but I asked for no foam, but it's ok. I'll take it out. No worries.
He got angry again, saying again you should have had regular coffee and that what you meant to order. 😁.
At this point, i said ok thanks I will wait for the food.
We had to wait almost 30 min for the food. Which is ok of ot was a busy day or time.
The food was good, nice place but the service was...
