Golden Chick — Restaurant in Dallas

We've gone to this location plenty of times since it's right by our house but today was the worst customer service experience I've ever had. First off, the door would lock every time it shut and the employees could see people pulling on the door but didn't care, another customer had to let us in. Three of us (customers) were trying to figure out how to fix it while the employees acted like they didn't see it. All of the drinks in the machine were not working (and by this I mean not spraying out of the nozzles correctly and no syrup. Every single one of them) and all of the tables were dirty. I ordered a kids meal for our son and when we got it I realized it was missing the apple juice. I ask about it and I'm told they don't carry that anymore. Not a big deal but why not tell me that from the beginning. He then tried to give me a large cup (for my 3 year old) and said it was the only size they had. No small, medium, or kids cups. Then we had to go back up to the front about 6 more times because they forgot sauces, silverware, the napkins were empty, and we were still waiting for them to get the drinks working again. The employees acted like all of the issues we were having were not their problem and they couldn't care less. And to top all of that off, the manager was the one that took our order and the one that seemed completely dumbfounded that we kept coming back and asking for things that we didn't get but were supposed to. Omg I seriously never thought I'd ever eat here, but this place is awesome. I hope they beat out Wendy's and whataburger next to them because they're just so much better.

We ordered the 3 tender super combo with honey mustard. I got corn nuggets and some slaw for the side with a sweet tea. Hubby got the 4 tender combo with gravy and fries for the side.

I got the sweet tea and hubby got a sweet tea mixed with with raspberry lemonade. Let me just say their sweet tea is delicious!

We also got a fried catfish on the side to try and even that was pretty darn good.

Their food is always consistently fresh so I'll continue to come back up this location. And they also have free ice cream when you dine in so bring the kids!

Also I'd like to bring to attention that their customer service is very good. I love that. There hasn't been a good fast food establishment in this area in a really long time and I really thank y'all so much for training y'alls employees correctly because a lot of places don't care about Quality service.

Absolutely fantastic experience. The man who took my order was so upbeat and cheerful and used phrases like “awesome possum”. Already off to a great start! When I got to the window, he was wearing a unicorn hoodie and absolutely crushing it on the window, making drinks and prepping orders lightning fast. He has such a wonderful attitude and he 100% made my night. When I ate my food, it was delicious and clearly fresh and I had all the right silverware and plenty of napkins. (Another Golden Chick location that I will not name ALWAYS forgets to give me a fork. Am I supposed to eat these green beans with my hands or just chug them like a smoothie?? -_-) Anyways this Golden Chick absolutely has their game on point and the guy in the unicorn hoodie (I forgot to get his name ☹️) was incredible.
