We decided to try the adorable turtle-shaped breads she featured online, and they truly exceeded our expectations! My daughter, my husband, and I each picked one out (he couldnāt resist grabbing a few!) and we were genuinely impressed by the flavor and texture.
Though we came from the Denton areaāa bit of a driveāit was 100% worth it. Good bakeries are hard to come by, and this one is special. Graciela herself is just as kind and lovely in person as she is in her videos.
A heads-up: the bakery is located in a part of town that might feel a little rough around the edges, with a noticeable presence of homeless individuals. But pleaseādonāt judge the bakery by the neighborhood. Once you walk through those doors, youāll be greeted with warmth and some of the best bread youāve ever tasted.
