Columbia Inn — Hotel in Dallas

This is now an 'apartment' building. More like fall-apartment. 700 a month gets you a single room between 125-300ish sq ft with no bathroom, no running water, 4 shared single occupancy bathrooms to be shared by 24 apartments. You have to wash your dishes in those same bathrooms. The bugs are endemic, both cockroaches and bedbugs, and it's like pulling teeth to get any pest control or maintenance done. We don't have individual mailboxes, so the post office refuses to deliver here. The owners insist we'll have some in a couple of weeks... or so they said a month ago. The landlord has a mentally ill woman in his care, and she's constantly drunk and harassing the residents. There's a dope house behind us, and a strip club posing as a bar next door. There's no heat in the building, and they don't provide heaters in winter, either.

Do yourself a favor. Don't come here. You deserve better. I wish I could...
