Henderson Chicken — Restaurant in Dallas

This is NOT the Henderson chicken of the past. This place will have you up at 2 AM with your life coming out your a#$! This place is horrible ! I believe I received food poisoning from chicken that was old, tough, bland, cooked in old grease, with more feathers than chicken , and sitting in a silver bin without being maintained at the right temperature. The chicken had NO seasoning beside flour, old grease, and old bird. The fries had no seasoning and were tough , chewy, and sitting in the same type of bins without any type of temperature regulation . It is sitting out in the summer heat waiting to turn your stomach upon consumption. It's $.50 a shake according to the cashier to receive seasoning, or I could purchase the container advertised as Ms. Linda's seasoning. Henderson and Ms. Linda ought to be ashamed. Henderson's has gone downhill with their money grabbing ways and poor product representation. 50 cents a shake to have your food seasoned AFTER it is cooked and sat out and gone cold!!! Now I understand why so many locations have closed. I asked for fresh chicken, and they assured me from behind the bulletproof walk-up window that it was fresh. You can not go in and smell, see, or hear if chicken is being fried fresh at all like you used to be able to do at the Garland location. This is NOT a place I would recommend or ever return. It is $10.00 for 5 wings and fries that I would like a refund for. Please keep driving!!!! Tom Thumb and Kroger have better tasting and safer to consume chicken than this place. So I rolled up excited about this new Henderson’s off Singleton blvd. So unfortunately, it was a miss. I waited here and ordered 3 pc with seasoning and okay they hit me for $10. But why did this guy give me some old chicken breast in which I thought everything was cooked in same grease at same time. It’s a disappointment since buddy over fried this chicken breast which made it chewy and rubberish. Bruh Don’t do your people like that. I kinda wish there was a female working there because buddy at front he not doing it. I paid $10 for a chicken that was not moist. Should went with my first intention to go to Odoms bbq. This was a serious disappointment. It’s like I got sabotaged. Why would someone use two different greases to fry my chicken 🐔? Only if you wanted to give someone a bad experience. So, again I don't understand why many black businesses owner don't understand what customer service is. If you told me made to order, stuff takes 8 minutes and receive your order 30 minutes later that's a problem. When you order and there's 2 people in line. Then you place your order and then five people place an order after you and they get their order before yours, that's a problem. When one of the workers mouths to you? Oh, that's gonna be 6 minutes more after they told you 20 minutes ago that it would be 8 minutes. That's a problem. I'm sure this place isn't gonna close down because of me, but I won't be back.
