Ixtapa Bay Restaurant — Restaurant in Dallas

1.- 40 minute wait. 5 plates: Guacamole order, Mini Ixtapa Grill, Order of 3 fish tacos, Ixtapa shrimp and a seafood soup.

2.- Ensed up cancelling the guacamole order at 30 mins in. No apologies were given.

3.- Once food arrived, took extra 5 mins to receive silverware, tortillas and bread.

Ixtapa shripm dish was very small in proportions. Shrimp tacos were cold, and the $17 mini ixtapa grill, was only enough for 4 tacos; most were chicken fajitas and very very little steak.

Im giving it 2 stars because this place used to be good years ago. When we arrived before the rest of our party, it looked abandoned. Only like 2 people were eating. As we got our menu, every single price was whited out and edited. I dont remember anything for less than $15. I understand its seafood but the prices weren't reasonable at all. The food was excellent!!! The seasoning was on point :), however my lunch companion thought the rice had a bit extra garlic . The service was helpful with suggestions and friendly, the only reason I gave it 3 stars because my reviews are always left open for possible improvements .. I will defiantly return to try other items on the menu.

On this visit I had the mini parrillada time was around 11am. We where the only ones there and guests started walking...
