McAlister's Deli — Restaurant in Dallas

Sadly, I did not read the reviews for this location before placing my pick up order during lunch. THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. WAITING. I ordered online and they told me it would be ready at 12:34p. I got there about 12:38 and waited; and waited; and waited....it really started to make me nervous when there were literally zero dine in customers in line but about a dozen online order customers standing around waiting for their orders too. We started to compare pick up times. As I was sitting there stewing getting very hangry after now 25 minutes...I FINALLY got my order at 1:05. 30 minutes late. If there were any other quick options right around this location I would have bailed, wasted my 14 bucks and saved my peace of mind and my hunger. Seriously, never again at this place. I could go on--staff not really coordinated. The Manager walking in from the outside (in the middle of lunch?) at 12:45pm and didn't seem to care or fathom the problem. I don't know man.....big issues here. Like I said, wish I would've seen some of the other reviews and I would have steered clear. Hope you see this one and choose to...

I went in to order nachos. The gentleman that took my order was nice but interpreted my order wrong. He then was distracted by friend as they were talking and forgot to give me a receipt. The gentleman when he realized his mistake he explained it to the girl in the back. She came up and stated " what's wrong?" while rolling her eyes. Now, I know I asked for a lot of changes so I understand mistakes but at least offer to correct the problem without attitude. After I requested my money back she tried to insist I take the food. I tried to explain that I did not want it. The problem was she still did not correct the problem and it would have made me sick. She insisted she did not want to waste food. I explained maybe someone in the store would eat it. She never apologized. I will pray for her. I pray that she learns to treat others as she wants to be treated and that she never receives...

Placed an “curbside” order online for pick up arrived for pick up time and no one ever came out to bring my food so I waited 10 min before I proceeded to go in the restaurant to get my order... upon walking into the restaurant no one greeted me or asked if they could assist me and when other patrons came in they were assisted and asked for help even though I had been there prior to the other patrons coming in the restaurant I then asked where to pick up my online order which was not at the booth for pick up and then knowing my food was ready and had been sitting since 12:16 ... I am displeased with the customer service, lack of attentiveness to customers, not having a designated curbside pick up area, and just the lack of communication amongst the employees .... needless to say this was my first and last time to visit this location I’ll drive further for better...
